Long-term Aspects and Lunations This month the New Moon on April 3rd is in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, your 5th House of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation. Given the plethora of planets congregated in that sign, this is highly likely to be a very active part of your life this month. Luckily for you, Aries is in a nice favorable trine position to yours, so all this Aries-on-steroids energy is more favorable for you than others. Those of you born within a day or so of December 6th should definitely watch for something new to come your way as well as those with a birthday right around December 19th. If your birthday is November 24, give or take a day, expect the unexpected because whatever this lunation brings will take you by surprise. If you were born right around December 8, you will have a few challenges with regard to expanding your interests but it's critical that you take control so you can steer the situation in the direction you want. Those born right around December 16 will need to revise or rethink something in this part of your life, but again taking control is essential if you want to be happy with the outcome. One fairly major caveat with this lunation is the fact that Saturn is retrograde and opposing the New Moon. Fortunately, Saturn is in Libra which is sextile your sign, which constitutes another favorable aspect, though Saturn isn't exactly known for being a beneficial influence. In the long haul he keeps us responsible and on-track, but can sometimes lead us through some difficult territory along the way. Libra is your 11th house of friends, organizations, groups, networking and goals so Saturn in that vicinity indicates there is something there that needs to be restructured, something that isn't quite right and needs to be fixed. Since this is going on at the subconscious level for now, you may not have a foggy clue what it is until mid-June. However, moving forward with anything related to your 5th House, such as a creative endeavor, is going to be like driving with the emergency brake on. Look at what you have going on in your 5th and then consider what your goals are along with what assistance you will need to bring them to fruition. This should give you a substantial clue to what Saturn is trying to say. You should look at your group associations, organizational ties, networking capability and even your friends in the context of how they can serve you with regard to accomplishing your goals. If you've been stuck in the mud in this part of your life, it's even more essential for you to scrutinize this carefully. Venus is transiting fellow Mutable Sign, Pisces, your 4th house of home environment, memories, endings, and cultural roots. This should have a favorable effect on this part of your life, especially for those of you born December 1st, give or take a day. If you have a project going on in this part of your life, this is a favorable time to do some research regarding it, particularly if a major purchase or investment is involved. However, remember that Mercury is retrograde, making it an unfavorable time to purchase anything of a mechanical or electronic nature until as long after April 22 as you can manage. The Full Moon on April 17 is in Libra, your 11th house of groups and such as noted earlier. A Full Moon typically brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase which could relate to that shift you need to accomplish. Some adjustments on the homefront may be required but watch for inspiration or enlightenment to give you a helping hand. Note that Neptune has just set foot in Pisces, which he rules, giving him tremendous influence. The good news is that his dreamy, inspired, energies will now imbue your home environment, making it a wonderful time to dream and imagine what you want for this part of your life. However, given that Pisces squares Sagittarius there is also the possibility for being too idealistic or unrealistic since Neptune readily dispenses rose-colored glasses and can distort and deceive as well. Your natural enthusiasm thus needs to be reined in as required to prevent you from jumping into something that isn't as it seems. Saturn is still opposing Aries but contacting different planets than was the case for the New Moon. In particular, moving forward will be delayed with those 5th house issues such as creative endeavors, kids, romance and so forth, but don't fret since this will ultimately work in your favor. Remember you have something to restructure in the group or networking department so you don't want to expend time or money on something that isn't headed in the right direction with the right people. For example, if you are trying to market a book, perhaps you're not hanging with the right people or going to the right conferences to make the contacts you need for the best outcome. Use that Mercury retrograde to go back to the drawing board and research other genres or markets. Avoid frustration by having confidence that time is on your side whenever your patience begins to wane. Meanwhile, all that energy in Aries should be beneficial, so ponder it, identify how it feels, and use your natural intuition to guide you from there. |
