Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon on April 3rd is in next-door neighboring sign, Aries, your 2nd House of finances, income, possessions, needs and pleasures. This is a largely unprecedented energy cluster which is clearly evident on the news with all the explosive events going on around the world. It is hard to say what this is going to do to your financial situation but caution is definitely advised. While you may be able to harness this energy to move forward with your financial goals, it could also indicate an "attack" on your possessions or income. Certain items could break down suddenly and require replacement but ironically Mercury is retrograde, so you need to postpone purchasing any replacements for as long as possible, until at least April 22 with the farther beyond that you can manage the better. On the positive side, Venus has been transiting your Sign which typically brings some good things you way. If nothing else, others will see you in a more favorable light, your charm will be enhanced and getting what you want may be a bit easier because of it. This effect will be strongest for those of you born within a day or so of February 27. Venus is sextile Pluto in your 11th House of groups, associations, friends, goals and networking. This combination bodes well for utilizing something from your past, such as an old friend you've lost touch with, to further your personal goals. Pluto in this house for the long term suggests cleaning house in this part of your life which comprises getting rid of anything that is no longer useful so that you have more time for what's most important. It's also a favorable time to scrutinize your goals carefully and see if any of them are out-dated as well. Pluto is about death and regeneration so take a good, hard look at this part of your life for anything you need to ditch and thus lighten your load for better forward progress on something new. An aspect out there which will put some restraint on all that energy in Aries in Saturn, who is retrograde in Libra, your 8th house of transformations, sex, shared resources, and debt. This indicates a major change of direction is required with something related to this part of your life. While it does comprise debt, it may not be that unless that's relevant for you personally; considering the fact that the New Moon is in your 2nd house of income and finances, however, there's a better than average chance that it is. If not, then remember that transformations take many forms so it's harder to predict what's afoot with this transit. I don't think you're going to have any trouble seeing what it is, given the fact that Aries is currently on steroids. The Full Moon on April 17 is in Libra, your aforementioned 8th House. A Full Moon typically indicates an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase. The Moon is a bit down the road from Saturn which will have the most impact for those of you born within a day or so of March 18. Your Sign Ruler, Neptune, is offering a helping hand, especially since he has just stepped into your sign where he is in his dignity. In August he goes back into Aquarius for a while due to retrograde motion, then returns for the long-haul in February 2012. For this lunation he is conjunct the Sun of Pisces born around February 19-20. This can be a mixed blessing. Since Pisces are dreamy by nature and not always comfortable with the harsh realities of earth life, this could remove you even further from facing such issues. On the other hand, it could provide the needed inspiration you need to do so in an efficacious manner while maintaining the proper attitude toward such temporal inconveniences. If you use it to simply escape further, it is likely to bite you eventually so your best bet is to take care of business first and then go back to your dream world. Those of you born around March 3 will have Saturn tweaking your path with motivation to redefine your financial goals. Expanding this part of your life through increased income or indulging in major purchases is ill-advised and perhaps essentially impossible between both Saturn and Mercury being retrograde.
