Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon on April 3rd occurs in Aries, your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, goals and networking. Considering the plethora of astrological energy clustered in that sign you can expect a lot of activity in that part of your life this month. Not only are the Sun and Moon in Aries but also Mars, Uranus, Jupiter and Mercury, essentially putting your 11th house on steroids. Thus, if you want something to get done which requires the help of others, this should be a favorable time to do so, especially if it's a new endeavor. One caution, however. Both Mercury and Saturn are retrograde, so that is going to slow things down a bit, perhaps putting that Aries explosion into a paper bag. Mercury, your sign ruler, is retrograde until April 22. As I've noted before, probably more times than you care to recall, this is the time to revise, edit, reconsider and rethink something. So, this is not necessarily a bad thing, because if you have something that's been stuck in the mud, perhaps some brainstorming with others will help get things on the right track, particularly if it's a group effort. Those of you with birthday within a day or so of June 4th will feel this the most. However, with that lineup in Aries being what it is, many of you will be affected but in different ways, depending on which planet is aspecting your natal Sun. If your birthday is right around May 23 watch for an unexpected opportunity to move forward with something or break free, perhaps, from something which has been holding you back. If your birthday is June 7, give or take a day, expect to expand your horizons or increase your group activities or goals. Those of you born June 15 within a day need to concentrate especially on redoing or rethinking something which will be of a beneficial nature. For example, perhaps you made a mistake which you will be able to discover and correct or make a better product, especially if it's in writing. Venus is in Pisces, your 10th house of career, reputation, status and public image, which is typically a favorable transit. This is an excellent time to make a speech, have an interview, or make any type of public appearance as you are likely to be seen in a favorable way. If you've been dealing with something from your past which has been holding you back, an opportunity to rectify the matter could arise as well. In other words, if you have such an issue, this would be a favorable time to take action on it. Saturn is retrograde in fellow Air Sign, Libra, your 5th House of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation. Saturn in this state usually causes delays and obstacles but this is not necessarily a bad thing, especially for those of you with birthdays on June 4th. On the psychological level Saturn is poking around at something which needs to be restructured in this part of your life. You may not understand what it is until June, when Saturn goes direct and the information surfaces from your subconscious, after which you can work at getting it taken care of with it probably complete by September. However, this will be up to you to ponder and focus on anything in your life which fits this description, do the appropriate networking or brainstorming now, especially while Mercury is retrograde, also, then you'll be all ready to go in June. The Full Moon on April 17 is also in Libra, but fairly far from Saturn. A Full Moon typically brings an ending or culmination to something or perhaps a shift to a new phase. This could require some adjustments or a course change on your part which affects your status or possibly your career. Nonetheless, acquiring some inspiration is also likely which can help you understand why and where to go from here. Saturn is opposing Mars for this lunation which in most cases is like driving with the brakes on. Both planets are strong in their current location, however, so there is likely to be a bit of a tug-o-war which could manifest in a variety of ways. One possibility if you're working on a group project of some sort is that someone else on the team is going to want to move forward while you don't believe you or the group is ready. Revisions are also yelping from the wings, but perhaps there's a deadline looming. This is a time for cool, collected logic, which you excel at, so that a reasonable compromise can be achieved which is acceptable to all. |
