Lunations and Long-Term Aspects The New Moon on April 3 is in fellow Cardinal Sign, Aries, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status. In addition to the Moon and Sun, Mars, Uranus, Jupiter and Mercury are also in that sign, providing an effect that's best described as Rambo on steroids. This is not an energy with which most Crabs have much of an affinity, given that it equates to Fire and Water, so this may be a bit uncomfortable for you due to the intensity. Nonetheless, Crabs are far from slouches, so if you're wanting to move forward with your career or some other 10th house matter, you couldn't ask for a bigger boost from the Universe than this. Remember that "status" covers a lot of territory, e.g. anything that may be in the public record such as licenses, diplomas and degrees, or such things that might appear in the newspaper. Promotions are also there along with their antithesis of being layed off or fired. Retrograde Saturn is opposing Jupiter and the New Moon system comprising the Sun and Moon, which is going to put a bit of a damper on all that energy, but probably in a challenging way. Saturn is in Libra, another Cardinal Sign, and your 4th house comprising your home environment, memories, cultural roots and family in general. This ongoing occurrence tend to work on something subconsciously that relates to that part of your life during the retrograde phase, then surfacing when Saturn goes direct. By the time Saturn emerges from its shadow, which will be in September, you should have the matter taken care of, unless, of course, you choose to ignore it, which isn't a particularly good idea. You can't fool Mother Nature or the Universe and if there's work to be done which you ignore, you will surely encounter it again, perhaps at an even more inconvenient time than now. The implications of Saturn RX and this lunation are that something that needs to be restructured about your homelife is causing some challenges with regard to your status or some-such. Conflicts between home and career are certainly nothing new and with all that energy in the career/status house you may be extremely busy in that part of your life which is causing things on the homefront to fall behind, necessitating some major reorganization. This will be particularly noticeable and possibly uncomfortable as well for Crabs born within a day or so of July 6th. The good news is that waxing philosophical with someone you love about the situation and transforming yourself or circumstances to meet this new challenge are favored. The Full Moon on April 17th is in Libra, your 4th house as previously mentioned. Since Full Moons typically indicate an ending or culmination, this is likely to bring the ending to something with regard to your home or perhaps some other part of your life since the 4th house also comprises endings of all varieties. You may finish up an important project, enter a different phase in your family, or any number of other events. Some emotional adjustments may be required and this may even relate in some way to that ongoing work of Saturn mentioned above. Avoid being too idealistic and expecting too much of the circumstances or anyone involved but try to maintain a philosophic attitude. If your birthday is right around July 21st this lunation will most likely have the most punch though those with a birthday around July 7th are likely to get some news, information or ideas with regard to that home issue and moving forward with it. Expect some challenges this month but recognize that much of it will come as a result of all those planets in Aries stirring things up. As some of them gradually leave over the next month or so that intensity will diminish. If possible, put it to work moving toward something you want to accomplish of a public or career nature but remember it's going to have a price to pay at home, which is always where a Crab's heart is. |
