Lunations and Long-term Aspects This month the New Moon is on September 8 in Virgo, your 11th House of goals, friends, organizations and group associations. This should bring something new your way in this part of your life. Those of you born within a day or so of November 8th should be on the lookout for a specific opportunity. Mercury is retrograde in Virgo at the time of the New Moon, indicating you're rethinking, reconsidering, or revising a current plan, which should become set a few days after the New Moon when Mercury stations direct. That Cardinal T-square mentioned last month continues to grind away on just about everyone in one way or another. For Scorpios this is likely to involve a serious effort to manifest your dreams with respect to your work. However, something is throwing speedbumps in the way. If you don't already know what that is, take a look at your own thoughts and ideas in that regard and whether they're self-defeating in any way. There is also a possibility that your neighbors or siblings are in the way. You may also be dealing with an existing job or obligation that eats up your time, preventing you from doing what you need to so you can get your dreams off the ground. This is not the worst situation, compared to what others are dealing with, and can probably be solved by taking a close look at your current situation, plans to move forward, and setting appropriate priorities. There may be something you're missing in your brainstorming but with your Sign Ruler, Pluto, in your house of thoughts, you should be able to find out what it is soon; most likely sometime after September 14 when he goes direct. Stay focused and you'll figure it out, as Scorpios always do. Mars and Venus are in a somewhat sloppy conjunction in Libra, the sign that rules relationships, so this has some strong implications in that area. The pair is also in Libra, however, your 12th house that not only contains your dreams but also such things as hidden enemies and self-undoing. This is where your angels and demons reside, so you need to keep a close eye on anything in that location. If you remember the grand finale in the movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark" when Rene Belloq opened the ark you can get the idea. What appeared at first to be beautiful and inspiring ultimately turned out to be the vehicle of his destruction. This is not to say that this could happen, but I'm always suspicious of anything in the 12th because the potential is there. If you want to be a blatant optimist, you could just as easily find your soulmate and answer all your dreams and fantasies (which for a Scorpio would be considerable). Mars and Venus are in favorable aspect to Neptune in your 4th House, which would typically be a favorable indication except Neptune rules the 12th and can bring illusions your way. Now is the time to turn up the gain on that Scorpio radar and sniff out all the facts to protect yourself, if required. Surprises related to your lovelife or children are likely to cause a change of direction. Being a total pessimist, Mars and Venus in the 12th could be some couple who's trying to undermine you while pretending to be your friend. While this could all turn out very nicely, make sure you employ all the means possible to make sure it's real and all above board before taking anything to the bank. The Full Moon on September 23 occurs in Aries, your 6th House of work, health and pets. A Full Moon typically brings an ending, culmination, or change of phase. This Sun/Moon combo is parked right at the base of that T-square, shaking it up considerably. This could indicate that whatever it has brought your way is about to end or shift to a different gear. Mars and Venus have both moved into your Sign by this time, so whether it's the love of your life, your own blind ambition, or some couple who's now in your face should be apparent. At any rate, use your in-born ability to sniff out secrets and protect your own interests. This is not the time to be naive and trusting. I'm not saying you're in danger or under attack, but the possibility is there so be on the alert. If everything checks out okay, then you're good to go. Daily and Short-Term Aspects September 3: Watch for a brilliant insight or "Aha!" moment to come your way which is likely to reveal something you missed the first time. Mercury is retrograde so rethinking or revising something is well-favored and today you're likely to hit paydirt on finding something you need to fix or change. September 4: If you're beautifying your home this is an excellent day for some inspiration. If not, ponder any other dreams you have with regard to your home life but make sure to keep them realistic or they may bite you later. September 5: Reworking or revising your goals is still called for and may be required by some new revelation, perhaps related to a hidden enemy or some other problem. September 7: Be prepared for an unexpected adjustment or change of course with regard to your creative efforts, children or love life. This may be facilitated by a female trying to undermine you or some other hidden factor. September 8: New Moon as described above. Expect more information regarding whatever happened yesterday and a possible escalation. September 9: Something is going on at home again today. Be cautiously optimistic regarding the outcome. It could relate to pursuing your dreams, provided you're using the energy. If not, someone may use that energy against you. Venus enters your Sign, bringing additional charm to how you present yourself. This is an excellent time to interview for a job, meet clients, present your ideas and so forth. September 10: Jupiter backs into fellow Water Sign, Pisces, due to retrograde motion. Something about your core beliefs regarding your creativity, children or love life needs to be reconsidered. September 11: Mercury goes direct, allowing you to finally define your goals and move forward. September 12: This is an excellent day for a cleaning frenzy of some sort which will rid you of something or someone who is no longer useful. Someone from your past may also provide an opportunity, possible a neighbor or sibling. No some local networking. September 13: Watch for something significant and unexpected that requires yet another change of course. This is likely to involve your creative work, speculations, children or love life. September 14: Pluto, your Sign Ruler, goes direct, which will allow something that needs to be purged to reveal itself so you can take action. September 15: Your ancient ruler, Mars, goes into Scorpio, bringing his energy to your front door for you to use as you see fit. September 18: More surprises are in store but you should be sufficiently armed with energy and drive to take care of business. September 19: Adjustments related to your goals for your home will be required as you see them more clearly. September 21: Much will be revealed today that relates to your goals and any projects you've been working on. More disruptions and unexpected events are likely. September 23: Full Moon in Aries today as described above as the Sun enters Libra, bringing emphasis and illumination to your 12th House of angels and demons so you can see what's going on there once and for all. September 25: An excellent day to do some digging for information that has been kept from you, perhaps deliberately, and putting it to work in your favor. If anyone has been up to something you should be able to flush out the facts at this time. September 30: Watch for a significant breakthrough which will benefit you greatly. If you have a situation with any authority figures, expect an emphasis on that as well. |
