Long-term Aspects and Lunations This month the New Moon is in fellow Mutable Sign, Virgo, your 10th House of career, reputation, status and public image, on September 8. This should bring something new your way in that part of your life, though it may bring a challenge or two with it as well. This will be particularly true for those of you born right around December 8th because it will square you Natal Sun. Blame that one on fate and the Universe, not me. Mercury is retrograde at that time and in Virgo as well, making it a time to be rethinking a few things with regard to this part of your life. As motivational author, Mike Dooley, says, "Thoughts become things: choose the good ones." As the Sign who invented being philosophical as well as optimism you should be able to find something good in it, regardless of what it happens to be. That Cardinal T-square is still in effect so its influence is out there as well. For Archers this is going to focus on restructuring a few things, particularly as they relate to your goals and the people you hang out with. You also have to deal with your Sign Ruler, Jupiter, in your 5th House of ego, romance, children, and speculation, conflicting with that in some way, as well as what may be the equivalent of a fiscal colonoscopy, depending on your exact circumstances. Undoubtedly all three areas will be linked and interdependent. Purging and restructuring will be required before any expansion can take place, but the Universe is giving you all the assistance it can to point you in the right direction. Note that before something new can come into you life but you need to get rid of something first to make room for it. Another feature of this lunation worth mentioning is the somewhat sloppy conjunction between Mars and Venus in Libra. Since Libra is the sign that rules relationships there are all sorts of implications there for romance, possibly within your circle of friends or some organization you're affiliated with. This situation took you by surprise, upset a few things related to your homelife, and will require a change of course if you want to pursue it as a romance. Another possibility is that your best friend ran off with your significant other and your ego is suffering a tremendous hit. If it's on the positive side, you're likely to be in a bit of a fantasy land, which you should enjoy while it lasts. The Full Moon on September 23 is in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, your 5th House of ego definition, romance, children, speculation and entertainment. This Sun/Moon combo is right at the base of that T-square, however, sending all sorts of energy reverberating between the four planets involved. Therefore, this situation, whatever it is, is being greatly stimulated by this lunation. A Full Moon typically brings an ending, culmination, or shift to a different phase. By this time Mercury has come out of retrograde which will help you think more clearly and obtain the news and information you need with regard to your status. Venus and Mars have moved into Scorpio, still in a rather loose conjunction. Scorpio is your 12th House of inspiration, enlightenment, dreams, seclusion, hidden enemies and self-undoing. Fantasizing about your love life is a likely result, though also bear in mind that your 12th House contains your angels and demons; don't do anything overtly (or covertly) stupid. Daily and Short-term Aspects September 3: Most your attention today will be drawn to news, ideas or information that relate to your status, reputation or career. September 4: Romantic or financial fantasies may cloud your thinking today. Try to maintain balance between illusion and reality. September 5: Pay attention to today's events and look beneath the surface. Someone may be trying to undermine you or perhaps you're your own worst enemy. September 7: Unexpected or disruptive events related to the homefront may keep you from doing what you'd prefer; be prepared to make some course changes or to defend your position. September 8: New Moon in Virgo as described above. Don't let anyone or anything go to your head today, though it's likely to, anyway. It's going to change your course regardless. September 9: A favorable day to brainstorm with some friends or colleagues or simply do some daydreaming relative to your own goals. Venus goes into Scorpio, which bring her blessings to your group encounters, relationships and any financial goals. September 10: Your Sign Ruler, Jupiter, backs into Pisces, your 4th House of home environment, through retrograde motion. This is a time to review and ponder your core beliefs with regard to this part of your life and whether your priorities are where they should be. September 11: Mercury goes direct, allowing your ideas related to your status and/or career to progress. September 12: Opportunities to connect with your past and redefine your dreams are likely, so find some time to ponder such things. September 13: A change of course or adjustment relative to your goals and homelife may blindside you; expect a disruption or some other unexpected issue. September 14: Pluto goes direct which will bring something to the surface that you need to confront and possibly eliminate which relates to your finances, income or meeting your needs. September 15: Mars goes into Scorpio, something you should keep an eye on. Watch your back as someone may try to undermine you or you may be more inclined to undermine yourself through any self-defeating behaviors you may have. September 18: Expect the unexpected at home and keep a close eye on your finances. For example, if a major appliance goes out be especially careful shopping for a replacement or contractor. September 19: Use your imagination and think outside the box with regard to your status or career, then be willing to make a few course changes accordingly. September 21: Whatever is going on at home is going to create a tug-o-war with your status in some manner. You may be looking at some major changes. Don't be afraid to use your natural optimism. September 23: Full Moon as described above. The Sun enters Libra slightly before the Full Moon, highlighting your goals and group interactions for the coming month. September 25: Your financial situation and its roots will be highlighted today as you try to redefine your goals. Be entirely honest with yourself in figuring out how you got where you are. September 30: Be open to enlightenment with regard to your dreams and homelife. The path may be a bit rough but having an accurate assessment of what exactly is involved can be attained to guide the way. |
