Lunations and Long-term Aspects This month the New Moon is on September 8th in your polar sign, Virgo, which represents your 7th House of relationships. If your birthday is within a day or so of March 6th this will have a stronger impact. Watch for it to bring someone new into your life or perhaps an existing relationship to change gears in one way or another. That Cardinal T-Square is still out there trying to get you to change directions in some way which will have a lasting and perhaps even profound effect on you. This is likely to relate to your approach to your income, possessions or fulfilling your needs and how that ties into your goals or possibly your friends and group interactions. For example, if you have the goal of financial independence yet hang out with a bunch of high-roller friends who entice you to spend it as fast as you earn it, there's obviously a conflict there such that you need to decide which is more important, keeping up with your friends or pursuing your goals. Another possibility is that you get your ya-ya's out of buying new toys, then something bad happens to your income and you have to sell them all in order to eat. Face it, Pisces, you thrive on your "ya-ya's" which are what makes life in this sphere even marginally tolerable. The trick is to find them in such a way that fits your lifestyle. So that is what this T-square may be all about for you, finding a way to fulfill your needs in such a way that they don't compromise your goals or friends and having the appropriate "Aha!" moments so you make the necessary changes. There are a few other things going on with this lunation as well that are worth noting. Mars and Venus are in a somewhat sloppy conjunction in Libra, all of which have relationship implications. Libra is your 8th House of transformations, sex, death and regeneration, debt, and other people's money. This house is also involved in that T-square, by the way. You need to watch out for Mars in this house since it can incline you toward accidents or other misfortunes, so be careful. Venus, however, mitigates that to some degree, but at the least I'd certainly make sure to practice safe sex in both a physical and figurative way. The Love Goddess and her Hero are putting in their two cents worth with regard to those financial issues or your quest to fulfill your needs and recommending that you change your course in some way. They are also in a friendly conversation with Neptune, your Sign Ruler, which somewhat suggests that you should spend more time with your significant other or find ways to get more out of the relationship to fulfill your needs (and perhaps your significant other's as well) as opposed to looking elsewhere, especially if elsewhere involves money. I'm sure you can use your inborn psychic abilities to figure it out. Bear in mind, also, that Mercury is retrograde for this lunation which is a favorable time for reconsideration with his placement in your 7th House of relationships pointing in that direction for some ruminations, adding even more energy to the concepts noted above. The Full Moon on September 23 is in Aries, again your house of income, finances, needs and pleasures, indicating an ending, culmination or shift of phase in this part of your life. The planets involved with that T-square are both retrograde and are both in your sign when the Full Moon occurs whereas one (Jupiter to be exact) was in Aries for the New Moon. My apologies if that's TMI. Anyway, retrograde planets internalize their energy, forcing it inward for retrospection or other consideration. The T-square is still intact but the Sun/Moon combination is further energizing it, perhaps implying it's time to bring this issue to completion. Uranus, planet of surprises, disruptions, breaking free, rebellion and so forth, was already in Pisces, bringing a variety of unexpected events your way and perhaps making you a bit unstable. Jupiter retrograde typically concentrates on ethical issues or matters that affect your philosophy of life in some way. This all ties in quite nicely with the message of the New Moon that perhaps your priorities need a tweak or two. Mars and Venus are still traveling together, but now they're in fellow Water Sign, Scorpio, your 9th House, which just happens to include your philosophy of life, so that seems to further reinforce the need to take a close look at the people who mean the most to you and how you may be able to improve the relationship. Mercury is direct by this time which will further help you to figure things out and respond accordingly. Short-term Aspects September 3: An idea or conversation that centers on relationship issues is highlighted today as important, so pay attention with your heart as well as your head, which for Pisces shouldn't be too difficult. September 4: An excellent day for a romantic getaway or romantic fantasies. September 5: Be careful today to avoid accidents of every kind, including conversations that may not end well. It's a favorable time to work out old issues, however, just don't come on too strong on the defensive side. September 7: Expect the unexpected today as something occurs related to your personal life that strongly suggests a change of course, perhaps with regard to one or more of your relationships. September 8: New Moon today in your house of relationships as described above. Take a close look at your core beliefs for this part of your life and whether it's working or not, not only for you but those close to you. September 9: Serious revelations that will have a strong impact on you are likely. You should also be particularly cautious when it comes to water or indulging in alcohol at this time. Watching an action-oriented movie would be one way to use this energy. Venus enters Scorpio, bringing her blessings to your core beliefs and rethinking your philosophy of life. September 10: Jupiter backs into Pisces, reinforcing what he started a while back with regard to personal growth and any ethics-related issues you're currently involved in on either side of the fence. September 11: Mercury goes direct, which should help conversations with those close to you be more fruitful. September 12: This is the day to consider if your deepest beliefs and goals are in synch or whether your friends or group associations are a true reflection of what you want. September 13: This is another day to exercise caution and putting yourself in a situation that could result in an accident. On the positive side it's favorable for looking at yourself in an objective way and moving forward with any changes that are in order. September 14: Pluto goes direct after several months of retrograde motion. This will allow issues that have been rumbling beneath the surface such as your goals, friends, and organizational ties, to come to the surface and be dealt with appropriately. September 15: Mars goes into Scorpio today, bringing his energy to your 9th House. This will give you a boost toward such things as pursuing a new belief system, furthering your education, encounters with other cultures, foreign travel, relocating and so forth. September 18: Expect the unexpected from yourself as well as others. Pay attention to anything that shifts your view of things. An opportunity to see deeper into your motivation regarding your goals, friendships or organizational ties and whether they're an accurate reflection of your core beliefs is trying to get your attention. September 19: Ponder how you feed your soul and whether it's meeting your needs as well as those closest to you. A change of course may be required. September 21: Take a close look at your relationships, whether or not they're working, and where you fit into the picture. You may not like what you see but you need to pay attention. September 23: Full Moon today as described above just as the Sun enters Libra, your house of transformation. September 25: An excellent day to confront your goals and group interactions of all varieties. Pay particular attention to anything that's not working and how it can be changed. September 30: Continue to think about your philosophy of life with regard to close relationships and taking responsibility for you share of their success or failure.
