Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon on September 8 is in fellow Mutable Sign, Virgo, your 4th House of home environment. This will bring something new to this part of your life, even if it's a new approach or consideration in that regard due to the fact that your Sign Ruler, Mercury is retrograde and also in Virgo. That Cardinal T-Square is still in force which was described last month. As a refresher, it's general theme is going to involve your ego, creative efforts, speculations, children or romantic interests which are going to be involved in restructuring. These will result in or be the result of an expansion of your public image and some unexpected changes to your beliefs. These two areas will battle against each other in some manner and ultimately result in a major transformation of some sort. With both Mars and Venus also present in your 5th House of ego, romance, children and speculation, the chances for romantic encounters are increased. This could involve a new relationship or simply the renewal of an existing one. Saturn in that same sign will be a reminder of your responsibilities and may make you feel as if you have a hostile chaperone watching over your shoulder. Mars and Venus can also relate to your speculations, i.e. your drive to move forward with making some money, which obviously is on most people's minds these days. Whether this is a warming relationship or some other endeavor, it's going to bring about a change of direction with regard to expanding your group associations or goals and also change your status in some manner. There's a remote chance that you may go on a cruise with this person. Other possibilities include an infusion of idealism or inspiration that affect your beliefs in some way. If this relates to a speculation, it could be related to the oil business. If you're involved in a legal matter, make sure that everything is in order as the possibilities of illusion are high. Rethinking or reconsidering something related to your homelife also has a good chance of having a profound and lasting effect on you. The Full Moon on September 23 is in Aries, your 11th House of friends, organizations, goals, and group activities. A Full Moon will bring an ending or change of phase which in this case will relate to something in this part of your life. The chart of the aforementioned T-Square looks as if it's vibrating due to the fact that the Sun/Moon are energizing its base, an effect which is bound to stir things up a bit. Thus, if you haven't already figured out what that T-square is all about you're likely to now. Mars and Venus are still traveling close together but by this time have moved into Scorpio, your 6th House of work, health, service and pets. This could either have connotations for romantic encounters at work, which are usually a bad idea, or could also relate to moving forward with something related to money as noted earlier. Your Sign Ruler, Mercury is peregrine, i.e. not interacting with any of the other planets, and is in his exaltation in Virgo so this will yield some advantages, particularly since by this time he is out of retrograde. However, bear in mind if your birthday is within a day or so of June 4 you'll need to think before you speak or you may say something you'll regret or be misunderstood. Geminis are driven by logic and often state what they see as facts without taking the time or thought to be tactful, so bear this in mind during this time because there is potential to do some damage if you just spew words without giving thought to their emotional impact. Daily and Short-term Aspects September 3: Expect a lot of mental activity or conversations centering around your home. September 4: Romantic fantasies are more likely than usual. If you're looking at a speculation of some sort, it could involve foreign oil, transoceanic transport, or some other business that relates to water. You could also be sending a child off to college. September 5: Moving forward with something may hit an obstacle today that causes you to rethink the whole thing. September 7: A surprise change of course or adjustment could blindside you today. Expect the unexpected. September 8: New Moon today as described above. That change of course or adjustment is making more sense and you can see how it can be to your advantage.
