Lunations and Long-term Aspects This month the New Moon is on October 7 in Libra, your 8th House of transformations, death and regeneration, shared resources, debt, inheritances and sex. If your birthday is right around March 5 expect something to come along which is going to call for some adjustments or a change of course. With Saturn and Mercury in Libra as well, those two will be contributing their energy to this lunation in a way that could bring news of or involvement with something like an authority figure, new responsibilities, or possibly a boundary issue or other restrictions. Transformational changes are those which affect you at a deep and lasting level after which you don't see the world or some situation in the same way as you did before. Venus and Mars are conjunct in fellow Water Sign, Scorpio, your 9th House of higher learning, legal matters, other cultures, relocation, beliefs and expectations. There two, particularly in passionate Scorpio, carry strong implications with regard to your beliefs about male - female relationships. It also indicates that interactions with members of the opposite sex with regard to the issues noted above will be more intense than usual. Other issues which may arise include moving forward on money matters that relate to this house since Mars also rules action and Venus rules not only relationships but money as well. Whatever is going on here is likely to stir a few things up with regard to those transformations. Pluto is settled into Capricorn for the long haul with no further retrograde excursions back into Sagittarius. Capricorn is your 11th House of group interactions, organizations, friends, networking and goals. As the zodiacal roto-rooter, Pluto will be busy unearthing old issues in this part of your life which require attention. If any of your affiliations are corrupt in any manner, you'll find out. If any of your friends are using you you'll find out. If you need some insider information with regard to attaining your goals, you'll find it out. If any of your goals need to be eliminated or changed significantly, you'll find out. So you can see that this should actually be a rather useful transit over the next several years which is more than some signs can say. If your birthday is right around February 21 watch for an opportunity in one of these areas to come your way which may trigger the full effects of this lunation. Jupiter and Uranus are in Pisces, your 1st House of personality and outward expression where they are conjunct and also semi-sextile your Sign Ruler, Neptune. Jupiter and Uranus have been known to bring windfalls so you can always hope. If your birthday is right around March 16 - 19 this is even more likely to be significant. The somewhat scratchy aspect to Neptune carries some irritations that could relate to your angels and demons in some way, i.e. your sources of enlightenment or conversely the ways you undermine yourself. At any rate, be prepared for some surprises. Also be aware that Pluto is in a loose but viable square to Uranus, which brings those suspicious friends or goals to mind as being an issue here. Pluto is also in a sloppy square to Mercury, which, as you recall, is one of the lunar escorts. This all implies you may encounter a significant personal revelation which is going to have considerable and lasting impact on you. The Full Moon on October 22 is in neighboring sign, Aries, your 2nd House of finances, income, material possessions, needs, pleasures and things you value, including your self-esteem. A Full Moon typically brings an ending or culmination and sometimes a shift to a different phase. Transformations are still in-work with your beliefs and expectations up for review as well. Taking action at this point is one of the things that could trigger that major personal issue which could well relate to ethics. Committing to what you really believe in and taking action accordingly is highly likely. Adjustments or a course change will be required, but ultimately to your benefit. Also note that while Pluto was in a sloppy square for the last lunation, for this one he's putting you in the driver's seat, so to speak, where how you handle any issues with your friends, organizational ties or goals can turn the events associated with this lunation to your advantage. Information about someone or perhaps a conversation with someone you know well may be inspiring or enlightening, opening your eyes to something you didn't see previously. October 5: Information that provides some information that was previously hidden regarding an associate may surface today. Your expectations may be shaken considerably by this revelation. October 6: Annoyances and irritations are possible, particularly regarding your beliefs and expectations which may have to change, like it or not. October 7: New Moon today as described above. October 8: Venus goes retrograde until November 17. This tends to bring out the darker side of Venus, who's transiting your 9th House of beliefs, higher learning, relocation and legal matters.
