Lunations and Long-Term Aspects The New Moon on December 5 occurs in Sagittarius, your 6th House of work, health, service and pets. If your birthday is on or right around July 6th this will bring about a change of direction or adjustment in this part of your life. This will also bring opportunities for restructuring your home environment in some way. Any old relationship issues, some of which could date back to your childhood, may surface this month as well along with opportunities to talk them through and resolve them once and for all. Ambitions with regard to your work or service could come up against a few obstacles, perhaps only with regard to your beliefs and expectations, but will require some conscious effort to resolve. These will bring about some form of transformation, however, which will ultimately have very beneficial effects. The Full Moon this month on December 21st is also a Lunar Eclipse which will give it additional punch and duration. It occurs in Gemini, your 12th House of dreams, inspiration, enlightenment, institutions, seclusion, confinement, hidden enemies and self-undoing, i.e. your house of angels and demons. This is likely to also relate to any unresolved, recurring or chronic relationship issues which are begging to be taken care of once and for all. Your emotions run deep, your Sign is ruled by the Moon, and your family is important to you so this could be a difficult time, depending on the import of the issues. However, if there are a bunch of old issues rumbling around they could ultimately have a detrimental effect on your health and well-being so it's a good idea to suck it up and deal with it while the planets are lending a push in that direction. Your beliefs and expectations may be holding you back in some way to take a good look at them and see what you find. Rethinking old incidents, especially if they go way back in time, may provide an "Aha!" moment which will show you the path to pursue to take care of business once and for all. However, bear in mind that Pluto will be cruising along in your 7th House of close relationships for several years to come. When he is directly opposite your Natal Sun this effect will be the strongest. Currently the target group will be those born between June 25 - 27. Thus, some of you have quite a while to go before you need to worry about it. Nonetheless, as long as Pluto is in that neighborhood, you can expect to see some major renovations with your close relationships. People will come and go from your life and other relationships will be transformed. The good news is you've been forewarned and know what is stirring things up. Daily and Short-term Aspects December 1: This is a favorable time to spend with your children, romantic interests, or gathering ideas with regard to your creative efforts. You will find great enjoyment and perhaps even a bit of income from these endeavors. December 2: If you've been having any vague, physical symptoms, be sure to check them out with a medical professional. Give some thought to your work and service activities as well and what you might do to find more emotional satisfaction from them. December 3: Expect the unexpected today particularly if it involves work, your health, a service project and your beliefs and expectations, religious or political leanings, other cultures, a relocation or foreign travel. December 5: Insights into something from your past are likely to surface today, though you may be prone to dismiss them. However, the New Moon is likely to further emphasize them. Note also that Mercury goes retrograde in a few days and will conjoin Pluto today then again in about a week when he's doing the backstroke and then yet again January 18 when he's direct again. Thus, anything that comes to mind today is likely to do so again at those times and may be more important or ripe for consideration than you realize. December 6: Uranus goes direct which should help stabilize something that's been causing numerous disturbances for the past several months. It may be time now for significant change. December 7: Opportunities to cover your responsibilities at home and work in a favorable way will present themselves today. It's a great day to get organized and make your holiday plans. December 8: Opportunities to deepen a relationship are out there today. Take advantage of such moments while they last. Mars goes into your 7th House today, which will stir things up a bit. December 10: This is a favorable day to have heart-to-heart conversations with someone close to you. It's also good for doing some creative brainstorming. Mercury goes retrograde today until December 30th, making it a favorable time to rewrite, revise, repair or revisit something with regard to a close relationship. However, remember that it is NOT a favorable time to buy anything electronic or mechanical as it's likely to not function properly. Thus, it's best to steer away from such things for holiday gifts. December 13: Mercury, Mars and Pluto are communing today in your 7th House of relationships. If this doesn't stir up some interesting conversations and/or situations I don't know what will. December 15: This should be an interesting and potentially lucky day. It should be good for interacting with your children, romantic interests, hobbies and creative projects. Other cultures or visiting some place you've never been before is likely to provide a very stimulating experience. December 16: Challenges, but potentially of a positive nature, may present themselves at work or with regard to a service project. You are likely to be the center of attention in some way. December 18: This is a busy day astrologically, so expect a variety of interesting things to happen. New insights are likely to come your way at work or with regard to service activities or possibly your health. Unexpected developments with regard to your children, romance or creative endeavors are possible as well as sudden creative flashes. December 19: Mars backs into Sagittarius, a time to rethink or revise something related to your work or health. This could be a good time to make some New Years resolutions, also. You should be able to come up with numerous good ideas at this time. There may be a few complications to work through, but this should be possible without too much trouble. December 20: You may encounter unexpected news today with regard to your work which challenges you in some way. New insights or inspiration received at this time could have a lasting effect and/or considerable impact. December 21: Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Gemini today as described above. Thoughts and considerations about work are likely to occupy your mind most of the day. The Sun goes into Capricorn, bringing emphasis to your relationships. December 22: Expect to encounter a challenge of some sort today that has a lasting effect. December 23: Friction or annoyances with regard to trying to get something done at home are likely to make them take longer than expected. December 26: If you haven't already identified a relationship issue that requires attention, you probably will today. December 27: You may get stuck trying to figure something out, especially at work or with regard to a current project. Remember that retrograde Mercury is good for revising but not for moving forward. This is a favorable time for making sure you're doing it correctly. December 28: Relationship issues are likely to arise, perhaps from something way in the past. If they're unresolved then it's not too late to address them. December 29: Home and relationship issues could result in various clashes or arguments, particularly if one of you is determined to do something your own way. December 30: Mercury goes direct, allowing you to move forward again.
