This month the New Moon on September 5 is in Virgo, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel so look for something new to come your way in that part of your life.  Mercury, ruler of that sign where he is both in dignity and exaltation, is there as well, providing a significant mental boost.  The lunation is in a Triangle of Potential with Pluto and Jupiter, which are opposing each other meaning the New Moon is in a position to mitigate it in some way.  Jupiter in your 1st house where he is exalted gives him a lot of influence.  Jupiter is generally known as a benefic planet which brings luck, good fortune and confidence though his general character is to expand and exaggerate whatever he happens to touch.  In a Water Sign he is "free floating" so to speak and unrestricted.  If your birthday is right around July 6 he is conjunct your natal Sun which will increase his effects.  Note whatever is going on right now then mark your calendar for around January 7 when he'll be back via retrograde motion and then the final pass the end of April and see what his message was.

Jupiter in your 1st house is an excellent time for personal expansion, new discoveries, exploration, reaching out to others and generally widening your horizons.  He rules such things as your philosophy of life, religion, political leanings, higher education and the world at large.  He's about halfway through your sign which means he'll be there for a while longer since he spends about a year in each sign.  In other words, he went into Cancer in June 2013 and leaves in July 2014.  He is currently separating from an opposition to Pluto (which will resume in January due to retrograde motion).  Pluto is in Capricorn, your 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, business professionals, competitors and open enemies.  His function in that domain will be to eliminate anyone in that venue you no longer need and transform others.  Assuming proper control is also often a theme or dealing with those on power trips if your own need for control isn't the primary issue.  The implications of the opposition are that perhaps your own personal expansion quest is not being supported by someone.  Another possibility is that you are trying to maintain control.  Meanwhile, as noted above, the New Moon is at the apex of an aspect pattern known as a Triangle of Potential which implies that something new will come along, perhaps a new idea or sibling or neighbor who will help resolve the relationship issue.

Another closed loop aspect comprises Mars, Saturn and Neptune.  Mars is in your 2nd house of income, finances, possessions, needs, comforts and pleasures which suggests taking action on this part of your life even though it can mean that action is calling the repair man because it may seem as if this part of your life is under attack.  Saturn is in fellow Water Sign, Scorpio, your 5th house of children, creativity, romance, entertainment, speculation and ego definition which isn't necessarily a very good combination.  Saturn is all about discipline, responsibility and structure and seldom what you'd consider a party animal.  It could be a time when your children are costing you a lot of money or perhaps you simply need more self-discipline in your spending habit if you have expensive hobbies or entertainment pursuits.  The good news is that Neptune is aspecting both Saturn and Mars and thus providing some energy that could help.  Neptune is trining Saturn from the 9th house of beliefs and expectations, higher learning, philosophy of life, politics, religion, other cultures, long-distance travel and legal matters.  The king of the deep can be idealistic sometimes but also inspirational so may be able to provide some help, even if it's simply an attitude adjustment.  Neptune is also quincunx Mars, an aspect that typically indicates a course change or need to justify your position.  This suggests that whatever inspiration he may provide will help with expenses as well.

The New Moon is quincunx Uranus in Aries, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status which also indicates a sudden or unexpected change in that part of your life.  Uranus is pulling in energy from Pluto and Jupiter, i.e. you and that relationship power issue.  This is likely to precipitate that change of direction related to the new idea of situation the New Moon ushers in.  It will bring you an opportunity of some sort but may disrupt your career or status in some way.

The Full Moon on September 19 is in fellow Water Sign, Pisces, your 9th house of beliefs and such as defined above.  Jupiter is now conjunct the natal Sun of those born right around July 9.  His only connection with another planet at this time is with Mercury in Libra, your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, new beginnings and endings which suggests that your current aspirations are meeting with some resistance on the homefront in one for or another.  Mars is still in your 2nd house of possessions and needs but sextile Mercury which implies good ideas on how to handle any unexpected status issues.  If you've been pursuing some new endeavor something may come along that seems to jeopardize that, but Mars should be able to help you work things out.  Mars is also tied in with Saturn and Venus, conjoined in Scorpio, your 5th house of creativity, romance and so forth.  This is a repeat of the challenge between your finances and children or entertainment activities noted for the New Moon which looks like it will receive a sudden shift of direction from an unexpected status event, perhaps even something very welcome such as a raise or bonus that helps the financial issue.  Relationship issues continue to be active and require a variety of adjustments and compromises.

On September 22 the Sun goes into fellow Cardinal Sign, Libra, marking the autumnal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and vernal equinox in the Southern.  Ingresses into Cardinal signs mark the changing of the seasons and the chart for the moment tends to define the theme of the coming three month period.  These charts are used for weather prediction as well as mundane and geopolitical astrology but may also have a similar meaning for individuals.  Thus I'm going to throw out a few speculations for the coming quarter for you to ruminate upon and even report back to me on if you're so inclined.  Cardinal signs are the ones that define action which tends to last until the next one, which will be the Capricorn Ingress in December.  If your birthday is right around June 22 then your natal Sun is either 0 Cancer or close to it which means these Cardinal Ingresses will square or oppose your Natal Sun and make them more noticeable.  Libra is your 4th house of home environment, memories and endings so these issues are likely to predominate this time of year as a rule. 

Jupiter is squaring Mercury in the 4th which suggests you still may be bickering with someone or dealing with information related to your homelife.  The Moon, your sign ruler, is in Taurus, sign of her exaltation and your 11th house of goals, hopes and wishes, friends, networking, groups and organizations.  She's holding up one corner of a T-square with Mars (finances and needs) and Saturn (responsibility).  This looks as if your heartfelt goals may be meeting financial resistance as well as conflicting with responsibilities related to children or perhaps a romantic partner.  Career and/or status disruptions continue to cause course changes which can actually be helpful as far as dealing with those relationship issues, perhaps because the situations define who's on your side and who isn't.  The situation may also simply need a firm guiding hand that someone can provide and help you determine what you really want and need the most, helping you to redefine your priorities and have a clearly picture of where you want to go.
