Thank heavens he is no longer retrograde, a condition for most of last month which was certainly a nuisance. The good news is that he's back in Virgo, the sign where he is not only in dignity but also exalted, giving him a lot of power and influence. It looks as if he's going to be facilitating lots of information which you'll be able to utilize. At the time of the Full Moon he is separating from an opposition to Neptune in Aquarius, your 6th house of work, health and pets. This could have fogged and confused things at work the past month which further contributed to all those wonderful Mercury retrograde situations. You aren't particularly prone as a rule to delusions but this could have brought some your way or even overt deception on the part of one or more people at work. Gratefully this is on the way out, but be on the lookout for any after effects as the truth emerges. Mercury's other aspects are much friendlier. First of all, he's trining Jupiter in Taurus, a fellow Earth Sign and your 9th house of higher learning, legal matters, beliefs and expectations, religion, politics, other cultures, and long-distance travel. Jupiter tends to expand whatever he contacts and also have a lucky effect which will reflect on these areas. However, he just turned retrograde the end of August, though this is not a bad thing in the same way as other retrogrades. Typically this brings about introspection into philosophical and ethical matters which are particularly apropos in this house. In fact, Jupiter is accidentally dignified in this house since he rules the 9th zodiacally. During his transit here you will be expanding and considering how you fell toward these areas of your life. The trine from Mercury will bring additional useful information and interesting conversations your way that relate to them. Mercury is also quincunx Uranus in Aries, suggesting a change of direction or adjustment which will hail from your 8th house of shared resources, debt, sex, death and regeneration and transformations. Uranus possesses a rather erratic energy which is highly volatile in Aries. Disruptions, sudden change, surprises, disturbances and so forth are highly likely. He's going to be in this house for quite a while so you may as well get used to such things now and be ready for numerous transformational experiences. Whatever is coming your way this month is going to change your thinking about something and shift it in a slightly different direction. Mercury is trining Pluto in fellow Earth Sign, Capricorn, another long-term transit. Cappy is your 5th house of ego definition, entertainment, romance, children, speculation and hobbies. Pluto will be excavating this part of your life such that you'll find yourself eliminating anything there that you no longer need, whether it's excess pride or some activity or hobby which takes too much of your time. Mercury is aspect both Uranus and Pluto and as you might expect those two planets are also in aspect but in this case it's a rather unfriendly square. Uranus square Pluto is best described as power failures, explosive rebellions and fun things like that. If you've been watching the news lately, you've seen plenty of examples of what these two can cause whether it's riots or unprecedented weather events worldwide. As noted earlier, Uranus is in your 8th house of transformations, shared resources and debt among other things so you are likely to see some real figurative fireworks in the years to come. The square to Pluto, which will last into October, will be stirring things up even further in your 5th. This is likely to draw attention to some of the matters in that house that you need to examine. The New Moon on September 27 is in nextdoor neighboring sign, Libra, your 2nd house of finances, income, possessions, needs and pleasures or anything else you value, including your self-esteem. There is a whole lot of energy in that sign due to the presence of the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Saturn so you can expect to see some interesting developments in this area. A sextile from the New Moon and Mercury with Mars in Leo, your 12th house, will facilitate some deep consideration with regard to your financial goals or attitude toward your material possessions. Your 12th house includes spirituality, enlightenment, inspiration, confinement, seclusion, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing with Mars in that locale giving a subtle warning to watch your back. However, the aspect involved is a sextile which typically denotes an opportunity, so it's more likely that you will receive some inspiration or enlightenment with regard to your financial situation. Mars is also quincunx Pluto in your 5th so if you have any hobbies or entertainment venues where you're spending too much time or money, you may want to make a few adjustments. Again, this is pushing for deep introspection which will have a life-changing effect on you, particularly with regard to your income and possessions. No matter what your current situation happens to be in this part of your life, it's time to examine it more closely to assure it's going to continue to fulfill your needs in the years to come. |
