Lunations and Long-term Aspects The Full Moon on November 10 is in fellow Fixed Sign, Taurus, your 10th house of career, reputation, status and public image. Watch for an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase somewhere in this part of your life. If your birthday is right around August 11 you are likely to encounter some sort of conflict in this area which will relate to your home and career in some way. Jupiter is in Taurus with the Moon and quite influential in this month's lunation. He is still retrograde which internalizes his energy such that it's more introspective and philosophical as opposed to expansive and optimistic. If there is anything about your current career which you find troubling, especially anything that relates to ethics, you will be giving it lots of thought. Jupiter is trining Pluto in Capricorn which gives even more depth to your ponderings. Capricorn is your 6th house of work, health and pets so the aspect between Jupiter and Pluto ties your job and career together. There's a chance that you need to entirely change your work if you want to advance your career. Pluto in your house of work might expose corruption related to your job itself or simply the fact you need to eliminate it from your life and do something different. This could be precipitated by a sudden "Aha!" moment or possibly some other crisis which necessitates a change of direction. Mars is in Leo for this lunation but only a sneeze away from moving into Virgo, where he'll be for the upcoming New Moon. Meanwhile, for the sake of this lunation he is on your natal Sun if your birthday is July 22 or 23. This provides the need for a change with even more energy, but it's important to make sure you're seeing things clearly. Make sure you have all your facts straight. If you're dealing with a business partner make sure that there is no deception or disillusionment involved. Saturn is in Libra, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and short journeys. This is the house of Libra's exaltation which tends to mitigate much of Saturn's gloom and doom and bring out the more positive side of his energy. This is an excellent placement for bringing your ideas into reality and the fact that Saturn is trining Neptune suggests that you may get inspirational ideas from someone close to you like a significant other or perhaps a business partner. Nonetheless, there may be some conflict with this person getting it off the ground, some unexplainable resistance. Mercury and Venus are conjunct in Sagittarius, your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation. This will provide you with excellent money-making ideas given that Mercury is the ruler of your 2nd house of finances and income as well as your 11th house of goals and group interactions. As a social being you should already be doing any networking necessary to get your idea off the ground. Venus rules your 3rd house of ideas and your 10th of career, so this is also a nice combination, all of which seem to point toward action related to your work and status. The New Moon on November 25 is also a solar eclipse which occurs in Sagittarius, giving your creative endeavors even more punch. A solar eclipse comprises a lot more energy than the typical lunation with it possible for its effects to be active for a year or more. Eclipse guru, Bernadette Brady, gives this eclipse family a somewhat dismal description which implies confusion in personal relationships, unexpected financial issues and possible illness. Low energy levels are also possible with the confusion such that important decisions should be avoided because seeing things clearly is not likely. Mars in the 2nd shows taking action but it could also indicate a figurative attack on your finances. Moving forward with your endeavor may create problems for you financially. The eclipse Sun and Moon are quincunx Jupiter, an aspect which calls for an adjustment, change of course or perhaps indicates a Catch-22. This implies that your career plans still probably require a few tweaks. The Sun and Moon are trining Uranus in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, however, which could bring some innovation that proves useful. Your beliefs and expectations as well as past experience can be valuable here but Uranus implies thinking outside the box. There is a lot going for you here but some challenges as well. The main thing to look out for is that you have all your facts straight and good communications with your partner, if you have one. Make sure the right hand knows what the left is doing. An aspect which implies there may be some delays, perhaps in the needed paperwork, is Mercury retrograde which is in effect from November 24 - December 14. The shadow period doesn't end until a few days into the new year, so true progress may not happen until then. Also bear in mind that Mercury retrograde is not a favorable time to acquire mechanical or electronic equipment. Either get it before this time or wait until January. This is also a time when things of that nature are prone to break down. Whatever you do don't replace it until Mercury is at least moving forward again, better yet out of the shadow period. My fridge went out during Mercury RX a while back so I lived out of an ice chest for a couple weeks but that was all I could stand. A day or so after Mercury went direct I bought a new one. It works okay but it sounds like it's haunted and the freezer compartment handle has a tendency to fall off, so that is the kind of thing you can expect during the shadow. Whatever you do don't buy a vehicle during this time. Rent one until after the first of the year. If you have to get an appliance before then be sure to get the extended warranty. |
