Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon on May 3rd is in fellow Fixed Sign, Taurus, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image, and status. You can expect to see something significant from this lunation if your birthday is within a day or so of August 5th. Something new is bound to come up in this part of your life, though it may present a challenge as well. Your best bet is to challenge yourself and consider something you'd like to happen in this part of your life, then take steps to make it so. Until the middle of May there is still quite a line-up in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, which will provide a lot of energy to your 9th House of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, legal matters, relocation, religion and politics. Of course it's your beliefs and expectations which drive a large part of your life, so getting things together there will naturally flow into the next house, i.e. the 10th, and energize it as well. Whatever this New Moon brings your way with regard to your career is likely to necessitate a change of direction, considering Saturn is quincunx the New Moon. This may be strictly on the mental level though this influence could come through a neighbor, or sibling rather than simply presenting itself as a new thought or idea. These are all 3rd house matters and Saturn is in that neighborhood doing the backstroke which means something in that department is getting subtly restructured, whether you're aware of it or not. While Saturn is considered a malefic planet, he serves a purpose and is worth listening to. Leos are creative by nature so usually know what to do with new ideas. Saturn, however, is also opposing Venus and Mercury in Aries which shows there's a connection between something going on with regard to your philosophy of life and data coming your way from there and that eventual adjustment to your mental processes. However, like noted earlier, it could also involve a neighbor or sibling as well. Short trips are also covered by this house so it could conceivably also relate to your daily errands or commute. In fact, this could also even involve your transportation, so if you're encountering problems with your vehicle needing repairs this could be the cause. Note that Neptune has recently stepped into Pisces. He'll make a brief retreat into Aquarius between August this year and February 2012 but other than that he's there for the long haul, like on the order of years. Thus, his influence is going to be emanating in your 8th house for a long, long time. This house comprises such things as transformation, sex, death and regeneration, debt, and shared resources. Neptune's influence is quite hard to define, which in itself says a lot. Neptune can inspire and enlighten but he can also create illusions to deceive. In your 8th house, however, there is a good chance that you will experience this is a positive way because he will provide insights into various happenings and experiences you encounter than have a lasting effect on you. You'll be seeing things on a deeper level beyond the obvious which will also transform you as a person. This will help you see life on a different level than before and influence you at all levels. Pluto continues his trek in Capricorn, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets. This will ultimately have a transformational effect on this part of your life and is another one of long duration. During this time you may entirely change your job or service activities or experiences you have in that part of your life could have a considerable transformational effect, which will work in synch with Neptune to expand your perceptions and understanding. The Full Moon on May 17 is in Scorpio, your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots and memories. A Full Moon usually brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase which will be reflected in this part of your life. Neptune is involved in such a way that you should expect to have some profound experiences or insights around this time. These will also influence your status, reputation or career in some way. Bear in mind that "status" is almost as broad as it is on Facebook. It involves anything that can be found out about you in the public record such as licenses or things that might appear in the newspaper such as honors. Becoming a parent for the first time is a status change, likewise when your last child leaves home. Getting a promotion or getting fired or getting married or divorced likewise fit this house, so you may see the influence in a variety of ways. The only planets left in Aries are Jupiter and Uranus at this point and Jupiter is connecting with this lunation in a very tight manner. This definitely looks as if it's a 9th house matter such as a legal matter or your beliefs and expectations, perhaps even any affiliations you have with political parties or religions. With Venus, Mercury and Mars in Taurus, more energy is available with regard to your career or status which should help bring something interesting your way. Watch for it. |
