Lunations and Long Term Aspects The New Moon on May 3rd is in fellow Earth Sign, Taurus, your 5th house of creativity, children, romance, entertainment, ego definition, and speculation. This offers the opportunity to pursue something new in this art of your life. This is likely to require a change of course or restructuring of something in your career, related to your status or public image in some way. Obviously there are only so many hours in a day and if you pick up something new in this part of your life, something is likely to have to go from somewhere else. Saturn is your Sign Ruler so you can bet that as sure as God made little green apples that this is going to occur. Pluto is now conjuncting the Natal Sun of those of you born within a day or so of December 29. If you have any planets in your chart at 7 degrees, it will be messing with them, too. Having just finished such a transit myself I can tell you with the full force of experience that your life is going to change in amazing ways. This is not necessarily a bad thing but the path is not always an easy one. However, your goat fortitude will serve you well and help you get where you want to go. For now this is going to be concentrated on your home/career situation, whatever that might be. There is a regular entourage of planets in Aries which is imbuing your 4th house of home environment with a tremendous amount of energy. This provides a lot of momentum for getting things done in that part of your life which includes your home itself, the people in it, your cultural roots, memories and endings. I, for one, have amazed even myself with how much energy I've had for working in my yard and garden. I am going to miss it when it's gone, which will largely be the case by the middle of the month when Mercury, Venus and Mars enter Taurus. The good news is that when that happens all that energy can be directed into your 5th house, which is typically enjoyable, provided it's something you want to do. Any creative projects will definitely benefit at that time. The Full Moon on May 17 is in Scorpio, your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, networking, goals, hopes and wishes. A Full Moon typically brings an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase so watch for something of this nature to occur by the end of the month. This could be something to elect to do or something imposed upon you by circumstances. By this time those three planets mentioned earlier have moved into Taurus where they've joined the Sun. If you have a new creative endeavor in work, this could bring a shift of gears with regard to your goals or maybe limiting the time you spend with friends or groups because you need the time for your own projects. Something may come up at home that necessitates some goal changes or a shift of direction. Roll with the punches and trust the Universe if it doesn't fit your liking. Furthermore this could be a time when you finally put yourself first or make something you want to do a priority as opposed to always running around meeting your obligations and responsibilities, especially those that would be better placed with someone else. Neptune moved into Pisces recently, taking him into your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, siblings and short journeys. His dreamy, inspiration influence should synch up well with those new creative endeavors. Keep an eye out and actively seek insights that weren't as easily available before. You may not even recognize them at first because they'll be subtle, or on the other hand you may have think you've lost your marbles as weird ideas start to flow. The key is recognizing that it's dreamy Neptune making his energy available to you on the mental level. You are practical and logic-based by nature, but this new dimension of thought can be incredibly useful if you tune into it and actively seek it as needed. If you're starting a new creative endeavor this will be a tremendous help at getting it started. |
