Lunations and Long Term Aspects The New Moon this month is on March 4 in your polar sign, Pisces, which constitutes your 7th House of close relationships which include your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners and competitors. Watch for someone new to come into your life or a new development with regard to an existing relationship. This will be even more pronounced for those of you with birthdays within a day or so of September 6th. There are various other planets in Pisces for this lunation which further contribute to its energy. Mars, Mercury and Uranus are there as well, providing an interesting environment. Mars is somewhat lost in Pisces where the fluid, intuitive environment douses his fiery energy. However, when you're talking about most relationships, keeping Mars somewhat subdued is usually a good thing, particularly if you can give him some of Pisces sensitivity. Mercury, your Sign Ruler, is a bit lost there as well with his logic and precision of movement likewise dropped in one of the zodiacal swimming pools, i.e. Water Signs. Thus, thinking won't be quite as clear and linear, but on the positive side, intuition can be enhanced which, again with regard to relationships, can be a good thing. Thus, these two planets can help you take action on any sensitive relationship issues that you need to discuss with someone, allowing you to see things a bit differently and hopefully not react as strongly as you might under different transits. Uranus has been in Pisces since 2003 so if your relationships have been a bit erratic or unsettled, saturated with disturbances or perhaps people that match that description, you can blame Uranus. He may have also given you a bit more reticence with regard to being tied down since he's also the planet of freedom, rebellion and breaking away from the status quo. However, this should change very soon, if not already, depending on when you're reading this, since for this lunation he's but a sneeze away from entering Aries where he will then be stirring things up in your 8th House of transformations, death and regeneration, intimate relationships, debt, shared resources and taxes, which of course are largely on most people's minds this time of year, at least in the United States. Saturn is retrograde in Libra, your 2nd house of finances, income, possessions, needs and pleasures where he's busily gathering information with regard to something in this part of your life which needs some rearranging or restructuring. You may not be fully aware of what this is until mid-June but he is definitely at work. With the New Moon quincunx Saturn, these adjustments will apparently involve a relationship in some way. Maybe someone new will come into your life that requires you to pay closer attention to your finances or possibly you will need to get rid of some of them in order to have the freedom you need to pursue the relationship. Whatever the effect, you can expect that things will be a bit different as far as your material possessions or income is concerned a few months down the road. Of course the 2nd House also includes your needs and pleasures, so these adjustments may facilitate more of the finer things in life as well. Virgos are prone to worry so I don't want to fuel that fire. Remember that worrying is a poor use of good creativity. :-) Jupiter is squaring Pluto which is worth some attention as well, especially if your birthday is within a day or so of August 31. Pluto is in your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, speculation and entertainment where he will be dredging up anything in this department which requires purging or renovation. Jupiter is in your 8th house of transformations, death and regeneration and such as noted earlier. Thus, there is something that needs to be resolved that combines these two houses. Think about the elements of each and anything from your past which you may have buried or ignored because it's about to come back to haunt you or at least demand rectification. Mars is sextile Pluto indicating that a relationship, possibly with a male, will contribute or facilitate this process. The Full Moon on March 19 is in your sign and will impact those of you with a birthday within a day or so of September 22 the most. A Full Moon typically denotes an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase. The quincunx to Neptune implies this may have to do with work; with Neptune, something related to your job may disappear which has an emotional impact and necessitates some adjustments or course changes on your part. The Moon is opposing Uranus, suggesting a sudden transformational experience that changes you in a significant way and has a noticeable emotional impact. This would be a very likely aspect if you're about to retire, for example. Saturn is opposing Mercury and Jupiter which have both moved into your 8th house this month. Mercury will facilitate news and information that relates to your 8th house whether it's about a transformation, an outstanding obligation or any other matter associated with this house. Jupiter expands our horizons which will also be favorable for understanding any potentially life-changing events that may occur; remember that Saturn is rooting around in your house of income and possessions so it will be involved as well. Last but not least, note that your sign ruler, Mercury goes retrograde on March 30. You know the drill on that one. |
