Lunations and Long Term Aspects The New Moon on April 3rd is in fellow Cardinal Sign, Aries, your 4th house of home environment, family and cultural roots, memories and endings. Expect not only something new but a lot of activity in this part of your life this month as there is a veritable convention in progress in Aries. Attendees include the Sun and Moon, of course, along with Mars, Uranus, Jupiter and Mercury. This line-up is going to square the natal Sun of numerous Cappies and have an effect that reflects its energy. Firstly, those of you with a birthday within a day or so of January 4th will feel it the most because your natal Sun will create a T-square with the New Moon as well as your Sign Ruler, Saturn, who's retrograde in Libra, your 10th house of career, reputation, status and public image. All Cappies may feel this to some degree, but not as strongly. Saturn retrograde is infamous for instituting delays, restrictions, boundaries, obstacles and all sorts of annoying situations which keep you from what you want. At a psychological level he is trying to retrench something related to your 10th house though you may not be aware of what it is just yet. That awareness will come in June, when he goes direct, and should be taken care of by September if you practice due diligence to "git 'r' dun." The Reader's Digest version of this T-square is that you're going to be restructuring something related to you career or status which will be held back or delayed by all the activity related to your home life. Those of you born right around December 23 will be required to take action on something that comes out of the blue or perhaps simply want to break away from everything. If you were born right around January 6th expect a significant increase in tasks and activities all around which other obligations are going to make difficult. Those born around January 14th will have to deal with redoing or revising something or perhaps many things thanks to Mercury retrograde squaring your Sun. On the positive side this is a favorable time to do maintenance and repairs around the home, get your filing done, checkbook in order, and so forth. Moving forward is going to be met by one frustration after the other, so use this time to do clean-up and organize things instead. If your birthday is right around December 29 Pluto is on your Sun, grinding away, which will have all sorts of not-so-lovely effects, though the end result should be to your liking. Pluto, the zodiacal roto-rooter, is busy tearing things apart that need to be either eliminated or remodeled. Opportunities may come from neighbors or siblings that will assist with this, so feel free to brainstorm with someone you trust for ideas or simply to vent. The Full Moon on April 17 is in fellow Cardinal Sign, Libra, your 10th house of career and so forth as noted earlier. This will pack the most punch for Cappies born right around January 18. A Full Moon typically brings an ending or culmination which may simply be a shift to a new phase or level. The 10th house also relates to a rather vague thing called "status." You may see a lot of this on Facebook, but in this context it refers to those things which are in the public record such as licenses, diplomas, certifications, diplomas, birth records, marriage records, divorce records and so forth. Also included are promotions and conversely losing your job, becoming a parent or landowner for the first time, honors or, again conversely, things like being arrested. Thus, this culmination may come in one of these areas in a rather subtle, run-of-the-mill, normal manner which you hardly notice except in passing. There are still numerous planets plus the Sun in Aries so activities at home are still popping. Conflicts with between home and career continue, though they could just as easily be related to memories or your family heritage and something related to your status. At any rate, look to these two areas for significant activity. Neptune has moved into Pisces, where he will be for several months before returning to Aquarius via retrograde motion. Pisces is your 11th house of goals, friends, groups and organizations which will reflect this new energy, though the subtle nature of Neptune may be hard to spot. Neptune is good for providing inspiration and insights along with intuition you can use in this part of your life. His trine to the Moon suggests this is an excellent time for networking to advance your position or goals. All in all, brace yourself for a lot of activity on the homefront or related to your family in some other way. Other obligations outside of home are going to have to be rearranged accordingly, so start thinking about it. Otherwise all that Aries energy may make you want to add a rubber room onto your house. |
