Lunations and Long Term Aspects This month's New Moon is on September 8 in your Sign of Virgo. If this is your birthday it will bring something new into your life not only now but for most of the coming year since this will be reflected in your Solar Return. Mercury, your Sign Ruler, is retrograde, making it a time to rethink, review, reconsider, repair and refurbish. If nothing comes to mind, the New Moon will probably help you. Moving forward is difficult during this time, especially for Mercury-ruled Signs like Virgo and Gemini, so expect things to be that way until after the 11th and not become too frustrated, as Virgo's tend to do. Face it, you're not the most patient sign out there due to your critical nature. But this is when you can exercise your eagle eye for detail and satisfy your need for perfection as you go back and look at anything that needs your scrutiny again. Finding mistakes, especially if they're someone else's, tend to make your day, so concentrate on things like that instead. This ability will be greatly enhanced due to some help from Pluto. That Cardinal T-square mentioned last month is still in force. The likely theme for Virgos will be continuing to restructure your income and finances in some way with influences such as your creative expression or children a factor as well. A relationship with someone close to you or perhaps a business partner will be involved as well. Jupiter and Uranus are conjunct not only this month but for several months to come, so expect a variety of surprises with regard to your relationships. Speaking of relationships, Venus and Mars are in a somewhat sloppy but nonetheless valid conjunction in Libra, the sign that rules relationships. This implies the possibility for a new relationship or deepening of an existing one. With them resident for the first part of the month in your 2nd House this is likely to have financial implications, though your needs and pleasures could be involved as well. This pair is interacting with some of the other planets as well, increasing their influence. There is a possible connection with your job or perhaps you'll be doing something together which could include volunteer work. If this isn't likely at this time it could include daydreaming or fantasizing with someone about a joint project. You could encounter a surprise or something unexpected with regard to someone you know well and there is also potential for a significant transformation on your part. There is also a small but finite chance this could come in the form of a financial windfall which will bring about a change of direction. The Full Moon on September 23 is in Aries, your 8th House of transformations, sex, death and regeneration, debt and shared resources. A Full Moon typically brings an ending, culmination, or shift to a different phase. This Sun/Moon pair is right across the base of that T-square so is going to be energizing it significantly, perhaps shaking it toward a new phase or conclusion. Mercury is no longer retrograde at this time and is in his dignity and exaltation in your sign so your mental and communication abilities will be enhanced. Mars and Venus have moved into Scorpio, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, and siblings. Mars is the ancient ruler of Scorpio and strong in that sign. While Scorpio is a very passionate sign, in this venue the Mars/Venus combo can also have implications for pursuing an idea that relates to money, since Venus also rules Taurus, natural ruler of income and possessions. Just because a T-square isn't necessarily a cake walk doesn't mean it will cause you a lot of grief. It could, but it all depends on how it connects with your individual natal, progressed and return charts. The themes will be roughly the same, but could have very positive outcomes. Daily and Short Term Aspects September 3: There is something you need to reconsider or rework which should come to your attention today. September 4: This could be a favorable day at work that brings financial benefits, but there's some potential for it to only be an illusion. Thus, if you think you may get a bonus or a raise, don't spend it until you have it in your hand. September 5: An excellent day to take a hard look at your budget and any changes you should make. If you're looking to make a major purchase remember that's a no-no until a few days after September 11 when Mercury goes direct. Ignore this advice at the peril of future frustration. September 7: Expect the unexpected today, particularly with regard to those close to you and your wallet or fulfilling your own needs. A change of direction is likely to result. September 8: New Moon in Virgo as described above. Relationship and possibly money issues continue to evolve. September 9: You may be inclined to pursue something with regard to work that may not be real or isn't as it seems. Get it in writing. Venus enters Scorpio, bringing her blessings to your house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors and siblings. September 10: Jupiter goes into your polar sign, Pisces, your 7th House of relationships. (Yes, sometimes I capitalize House and sometimes I don't. It means the same thing. Deal with it.) With Jupiter retrograde, this will stir up situations that force you to look at your beliefs and expectations with regard to those close to you. September 11: Halleluia, today Mercury goes direct and you brain will begin to emerge from the fog it's been in the last three weeks. September 12: This is an excellent day for creative work or doing something with your children or neighbors. Kick back and enjoy the day reminiscing. You'll be surprised what you discover. September 13: Someone close to you is likely to surprise you in some way which will result in a change of direction. September 14: Pluto comes out of retrograde, allowing your ruminations with regard to your children, romantic interest, creative endeavors, speculations or ego definition to surface in the days to come. September 15: Mars enters Scorpio, bringing his drive and energy to your thoughts, ideas and local activities. Watch your driving, however. September 18: More surprises, disruptions or disturbances are likely today. At the least everyone around you will be making all sorts of demands and driving you crazy, though a favorable surprise is possible as well. Uranus is entirely unpredictable so there's no telling how things will manifest but whatever does will be a complete surprise. September 19: If you've been disillusioned by something or not seeing it clearly, that should improve now and allow you to make the necessary adjustments. September 21: You'll see one or more of those recent surprises more clearly, increasing your understanding. September 23: Full Moon in Aires today just after the Sun enters Libra, bringing emphasis to your finances, income, needs and pleasures for the coming month. September 25: Seeing beneath the surface with regard to your finances which could relate to your children is possible. If you've been trying to find a way to earn some money for your creative endeavors something related to that is possible also. September 30: Relationship issues or activities will highlight the day. Fiscal responsibility may be an issue as well. |
