Lunations and Long-term Aspects This month the New Moon is in Libra, your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors and siblings so watch for something new to come your way with regard to one of those categories. Short journeys or travel to familiar places is also included in this house as well as your daily errands and neighborhood activities. If your birthday is within a day or so of August 7 keep an eye out for a specific opportunity related to one of these areas. Also in Libra we have Saturn and Mercury which will lend their flavor to the lunation in what could be a serious manner. Saturn, a.k.a. the King of Karma, is all about hard work, restrictions, boundaries, responsibility, authority, wisdom and hard lessons while Mercury is about news and information. This could mean no more than accepting a position with your local homeowners' association or it could also indicate that your neighbor sold his house to a motorcycle gang or one of your siblings will be moving in with you sometime soon, or maybe you'll be moving in with them. Good luck, whatever it happens to be. Venus and Mars are conjunct in passionate Scorpio, your 4th House of home environment, memories and family history/culture. This bodes fairly well for your relationship with your significant other, if you have one, or possibly simply getting along with household members of the opposite sex. It's a favorable time for discussing anything you've been avoiding or putting aside as well as it will be easier for you to find common ground and agree. Since memories are included, maybe it will involve someone from your past. Mars can also signify action and Venus money so it could also mean that you acquire the money you need to move forward with some home improvements. Pluto has settled into Capricorn for the long haul at this point, meaning he won't be backing into Sagittarius through retrograde action any more. This is your 6th House of work, service, health and pets where Pluto is currently operating his cosmic backhoe, unearthing old unresolved issues, exposing corruption, and encouraging albeit pushing you to eliminate anything from this part of your life that no longer serves a useful purpose. If your birthday is between August 19 - 22 something is likely to come along which necessitates a change of course or adjustment which relates to one of these areas. These two have been known to bring windfalls, so this isn't necessary something bad; inheritances are in the 8th House as well, so you can always hope. It also bodes well for getting a loan. However, there's a rather loose but notable square connecting Pluto to both Mercury and this conjunction, so the implication is that somehow this is going to affect your work in a challenging manner. Somehow Pluto will be tying everything together, even if it only means that you're motivated in some manner to clean up your desk. The Full Moon on October 22 is in fellow Fire Sign, Aries, your 9th House of higher learning, other cultures, foreign travel, relocation, legal matters, and your beliefs and expectations, including your religious and political ideologies. A Full Moon suggests an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase which will occur in one of these areas. If your birthday is right around August 23 watch for something favorable to occur that relates to one of them. Pluto is in a favorable position to further mitigate this lunation and further relate it to your work or service activities. Thoughts or inspiration that relates to this occurrence will come from someone close to you, though there may be some resistance to taking action from someone as well who could cause some annoyances, such as a close friend or relative or business partner. Be prepared to make some changes or adjustments which will ultimately be in your favor.
