Lunations and Long Term Aspects The New Moon this month is in fellow Fire Sign, Sagittarius, on the 5th, bringing something new to your 9th House of foreign travel, higher learning, contracts, relocation, politics, religion, beliefs and expectations. Opportunities are there and linked with someone you know who can have a very favorable influence with regard to what you want to accomplish. With your Sign Ruler, Mars, in that house as well, you will experience some drive to pursue something new in that part of your life. However, you may feel as if something is holding you back, perhaps some sort of guilt-trip or other reservation. You tend to be impulsive and if that's burned you in the past, you may have concerns that this could backfire as well. Opportunities are lurking, perhaps beneath the surface, but make sure that your intentions are honorable. If it has any element of revenge attached, make sure it's something that's in your best interest to pursue. If your birthday is within a day or so of March 25, be on the lookout for a power play, either your own or someone else's, with regard to your career or public image. You may receive news related to something in that part of your life or you may declare your own intentions in that direction. The Full Moon In Gemini on December 21 is a Lunar Eclipse, giving it extra punch though it's influence will be more internal, thus having more influence on you mentally and emotionally as opposed to what's going on around you. This is further emphasized by the fact that Gemini is your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, siblings and short journeys such as your daily commute. Power plays and contention with regard to your career or public persona are likely, though they may be self-inflicted. Mercury is retrograde at this time, making it more difficult to move forward; rather it's a favorable time to rethink or revise something that isn't quite where it should be but requires some refinement. This, of course, is one of your least favorite activities, but that doesn't mean that you have to do it yourself. Yeah, I know, no one can do it as well as you can, but you need to recognize your own limitations and direct your energies in areas where you excel rather than forcing yourself to do something you detest and doing a lousy job. This is also a time to be cautious that you don't do something which undermines everything you're trying to accomplish. Also watch your back in case someone you think you can trust is trying to sabotage you behind the scenes. Brainstorming is favored as well as networking, so put that drive and ambition to work calling in favors. Now is a favorable time to give serious consideration to obtaining something you've been wanting but didn't think you could have. Short Term/Daily Aspects December 1: This is a favorable time to call in favors or pursue something you've been wanting for a while. Remember, also, if you don't ask, you don't get. December 2: If you haven't taken the time to actually define your goals, do it now. you may find they're not as clear as you thought they were when you take note of what it will take to get there. December 3: Expect the unexpected today. Keep an eye on your back, also. December 5: New Moon today as described above. Now is the time to declare your intentions. December 6: Uranus comes out of retrograde which will stabilize your ability to access innovation and inspiration more readily rather than in brief flashes. December 7: Opportunities are out there through a close friend, relative or business associate. Don't let it pass without taking action. December 8: If you're not happy with your current career field, now is the time to be thinking about what you really want to be when you grow up. Your Sign Ruler, Mars, goes into Capricorn today, so put that energy to work redefining where you want to go. December 10: Careful reconsideration regarding what you want out of life is emphasized today. Mercury goes retrograde until December 30, so don't buy anything mechanical or electronic unless it's for someone you don't like. If anyone gives you such devices, they probably aren't going to function properly, but wait until after December 30 to return them or you'll just get more of the same. December 13: If you haven't already decided upon a new career direction you should figure it out today. You'll be anxious to start moving in a new direction, but with Mercury retrograde you need to rethink a few things first. December 15: Just because it's something you haven't done before doesn't mean it will be difficult. Spend some time today refining your dreams and seeking inspiration; noticeable effects on your attitude are likely. December 16: Don't let naysayers or obstacles get in your way. You love a good challenge, so muster all that Aries courage and go for it. December 18: Inspiration from others is favored so get out there and listen. A flash of inspiration is likely which will take you entirely by surprise and require a few adjustments to your beliefs. December 19: Mercury backs into Sagittarius, lending a hand toward rethinking a few things. You're likely to see things quite a bit differently when all is said and done. December 20: Disruptions or disturbances are likely, so plan accordingly. Maybe you need to reconsider whether your goals, redefined or not, are really what they should be.
