This month the New Moon on August 9th occurs in fellow Fire Sign, Leo, which should bring something your way which you'll enjoy. Leo is your 5th House of self-expression, children, entertainment, romance and speculation. If your birthday is within a day or so of April 7 this will be even more noticeable.

As always, the true character of a lunation's effect on your personally is dependent on how the lunation planets connect with your natal chart, but by itself it looks as if it could bring a few challenges, which will last for quite a while since the outer planets are involved. Watch for unexpected disruptions and a generally hectic time that is likely to be caused by people you're close to and interact with on a one-on-one basis. This includes your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners and professionals with whom you consult for anything from your broker, accountant, hair stylist, etc. Your responsibilities will be emphasized and you are likely to be called upon to fulfill them at the worst possible times as far as your personal convenience is concerned.

Expect major changes with regard to your career or public image as well with your status also likely to be affected. Anything that's not quite right in that part of your life will make itself known during the next few months if it hasn't already and demand attention. At the least this is a favorable time to clean out your desk and computer so get rid of anything that is obsolete and no longer needed to make room for something new, which is on the way in this part of your life. "Status" in this respect includes numerous things that will be public knowledge in one way or another or even present in the public record of newspaper. This includes such things as obtaining any type of license, buying property, especially for the first time, having your first child or having your last one leave home, being promoted or fired, opening a business and so forth. Something in one or more of those areas is undergoing transformation and will tie in with those relationship issues.

The Full Moon on August 24 is in Pisces, your 12th House of angels and demons. This is the house of quite the variety of things which includes enlightenment, institutions, self-undoing, confinement and seclusion. Look for something that falls in one of those categories to either end, culminate, or shift to a new phase, perhaps unexpectedly. This is a time for personal and spiritual development as you further define who and what you are. Adjustments, changes in course and being caught between a rock and a hard place are going to be the norm. Your usual drive is a bit inhibited this month with your Sign Ruler, Mars, in debility in your polar sign, Libra. This will remind you of others' needs and opinions which will affect your actions more than usual. This lunation should have an interesting affect on your relationships with your boss or other power figures. This should be generally positive as your work is likely to shine and testify of your value as an employee, though this is also likely to irritate those around you who may stir up a few things as a result.

August 2: If you've done anything that's the slightest big marginal from an ethics standpoint you're likely to hear about it from an authority figure of some description.

August 3: Someone or something will get in your way today and prevent you from pursuing something you want to do. This is likely to have connections to the past or something that needs to be taken care of that's been buried.

August 4: Adjustments or a change of course related to your goals at work are likely which will relate to a female or your income in some way. Don't be surprised if you can't quite tell what the goals are these days or understand what those around you are up to.

August 6: Venus enters Libra, your 7th House of relationships, which should bring good things your way in this part of your life.

August 7: Someone close to you will surprise you in some way.

August 8: Responsibility or some sort of obligation to a female will surface today.

August 9: Something you'd like to do to expand your horizons will conflict with your obligations to someone close to you and also relate to the past, such as an unresolved issue.

August 10: An excellent day for creative efforts or self-expression. You are very likely to be in the spotlight today.

August 13: Uranus backs into Pisces, bringing his unpredictable influence to your spiritual side and anything else included in your 12th House of angels and demons.

August 16: Responsibilities will weigh heavily upon you today and represent a speed bump or obstacle to something you'd like to do.

August 20: Any interactions you have with others today, particularly groups, will try to squelch your ego today, probably because they feel inferior or are threatened by your capabilities. You should be able to defend yourself in a charming and diplomatic way. Mercury goes retrograde today making it a favorable time to re-do, edit, re-think or re-plan something. Avoid buying anything electronic or mechanical until it's over on September 11.

August 21: You or someone else, such as your boss, is likely to be on a power trip today. Any old dirt or unresolved issues may be the cause.

August 22: The Sun enters Virgo, your 6th House of work, service, health and pets bringing emphasis to this part of your life for the coming month. Expect to make a few unexpected adjustments.

August 24: If a change of course is required, make sure you do the right thing regardless of its difficulty.

August 25: If you haven't resolved that issue from the past yet, this is a good day to do so. If there's been a problem at work you've been trying to solve, this is a good one to do so and get a significant amount of credit for doing so.
