The New Moon this month is on May 3rd in Taurus, your 4th House of home environment, memories, cultural roots, and endings. This is a good time to start something in this part of your life whether it's beautifying your home, making improvements, working on those long-neglected photo albums or starting to work on your genealogy. Such activities will be great enhanced by all those planets in Aries, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, siblings and short journeys. Now that Neptune has left your Sign your thinking should be clearer and more logical. Neptune was in Aquarius for a long, long, time so any fog you experienced may have come to seem normal. The effect of confusion would have been most noticeable when Neptune was conjunct your natal Sun, but thank heavens those days are over for the most part with the except being those of you born around February 16, who will be have a refrain between August this year and February 2012. The trick is to recognize it for what it is and then draw from the enlightenment and inspirational side of Neptune other than trying to strictly dissipate the fog. This aspect won't come around again in your lifetime so make the best of it while it's there.

With that entourage in Aries this is a great time to take on mental endeavors. Resist the tendency to drive too fast or exaggerate, however. In addition you may find that you are so full of ideas you hardly know where to start. Fortunately Saturn opposing Mercury and Venus will help stabilize them, though it may appear more as resistance or obstacles. Use this energy to take those thoughts to the next level with regard to their long-term effects and philosophical meaning. What are they telling you about yourself and what is operating at the spiritual level? Are your needs being met properly or do you feel as if you're doing without a lot lately? With Neptune in your 2nd House where your needs reside this should help you gain insights regarding any work that needs to be done. Pluto in your 12th house for the long haul will also continue to prompt you, albeit in a subtle way, to examine this part of your life and do some major cleanup and remodeling. This will connect in with those current ideas as well via what you discover on the philosophical level which will help you get on the right track.

The Full Moon on May 17 is in Scorpio, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status. A Full Moon indicates an ending or possibly a change of phase which can be a new beginning. Regardless of what your job situation is, this is a favorable time to take an objective and critical look at it. This lunation is tied into Neptune which, as noted earlier, can help you determine what your deepest needs really are and how to meet them. The one thing to watch for with Neptune, which shouldn't be too difficult for a logic-based sign like Aquarius, is that he can inspire but he can also cause illusions and delusions, blurring the line between fantasy and reality. We may all think we need at least a six figure income and eight weeks vacation every year but the fact of the matter is that probably isn't going to happen, so be ready to do some compromising. Finding yourself in a catch-22 situation is also likely which is going to necessitate a change of course which is likely to involve your attitude.

If there is something you need to eliminate from your life that is holding you back such as any self-defeating behaviors, which include lack of confidence, the time is right to identify and address it and make the necessary adjustments so you can move forward. Home issues are favored at this time making it a favorable time to redefine your budgetary goals, improve family communications and take action on any repairs or improvements which need to be done. Over the next few months you are going to be reassessing some of your core beliefs and expectations and discovering a few things which will take you in a new direction, not quickly, but at a comfortable place for a Fixed Sign.
