The New Moon this month is also a Solar Eclipse and occurs on June 1 in fellow Air Sign, Gemini. Eclipses bring more power and thus more impact than the typical lunation and in the case of a Solar Eclipse this energy will manifest in external events or situations which affect the part of your life covered by the house in which it occurs. Lunar Eclipses usually produce their effects on the mental or emotional level. This eclipse forms a nice trine to your Natal Sun if your birthday is right around February 1st and should bring something new to your 5th House which comprises your creativity, ego expression, children, romance, entertainment and speculative activities. It also trines Saturn in Libra, your 9th House of higher learning, legal matters, expectations and beliefs, travel to unfamiliar places, other cultures, and relocation, thus forming a Grand Air Trine. Thus, the thing to really watch for, especially for those of you personally effected, will be something which ties these houses together and affect you at a personal level. For example, you may go on a trip to somewhere far away or that you've never been to before on vacation, may move to be near your children or to pursue a romance; mix and match the various things included in your 5th and 9th houses until you recognize something related to your life.

The other aspects accompanying this eclipse will have a bearing as well. Mercury, Venus and Mars are in Taurus, your 4th House of home environment, cultural roots, memories and endings. Venus is in her dignity as ruler of Taurus, giving her a comfortable environment in which to express her love for sensual pleasures and luxuries. Given that Mars is there as well, this could bring some interesting occurrences or perhaps memories your way that relate to past loves. Since Venus is also the traditional ruler of money and material wealth, taking action on ideas which relate to that part of your life are favored as well, though challenges and obstacles will litter the path. The only planets left in Aries, your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and short journeys such as your daily commute, are Jupiter and Uranus. Jupiter is but a sneeze away from Taurus, however, so this is your last change to use his influence to expand upon any thoughts or ideas you're considering before his energy enters your home environment. Neighbors and siblings are also included so you may encounter a something related to them as well.

Uranus, planet of disruptions, sudden change, breaking away and freedom is stimulating quite a bit of mental action as well as possibly unexpected events related to your brothers, sisters and/or neighbors. Considering the fact that he is "linked in" with Saturn and Pluto via a T-square, you can look for some unexpected conflicts to deal with as well, though these also are likely to be of the mental variety. With Pluto in your 12th House of angels and demons and Saturn in your 9th which includes your philosophy of life, you may encounter some unexpected thoughts which have a deep and lasting affect on your beliefs and expectations. If you have any self-defeating behaviors, Pluto in Capricorn is going to bring them to your attention sooner or later, so you may encounter a major shift in your attitude. Saturn in the 9th can also help bring discipline and structure to the party.

The Full Moon on June 15th is also an eclipse and occurs in Sagittarius, your 11th House of friends, organizations, groups, networking and goals. As noted earlier, Lunar Eclipses tend to affect you more on the internal or emotional level after which you may choose to take action. If your birthday is within a day of February 13th this will be more noticeable. With the Sun and Mercury in your 5th House of ego expression, children, romance and so forth, this is a fabulous time to get with some of your many friends for support in pursuing a worthwhile goal, especially if it has a creative flair. If any self-defeating habits have come to light, especially if they involve money, this is a great time to make the necessary adjustments in place to resolve the problem. Jupiter is now in your 4th House of home environment, memories and such, increasing the probability of a lot activity on the homefront. This is an excellent time for a cleaning frenzy or improving your home. Interactions with siblings or neighbors will uncover something from the past which needs to be resolved, so be sure to take advantage of any opportunities to clean up the environment, whether at a personal or material level. This is a favorable time to get creative and figure out how to pursue a major goal such as returning to school, a relocation, or perhaps simply renovating your intellectual landscape.

Neptune is in Pisces where his energy is profoundly expressed, Pisces being your 2nd House of finances, income, possessions, needs and pleasures. This can produce a lot of inspiration but make sure you don't entirely lose touch with reality along the way. Creative ways to deal with this part of your life are available through this lunation/eclipse, so take some time to ponder where you want to go in that part of your life as well.
