The New Moon this month is also a Solar Eclipse and occurs in Cancer, your 6th House of work, health, service and pets. If your birthday is within a day or so of February 8 this will have a stronger effect which is most likely to manifest as a need for an adjustment in one of those areas. Last month we had the Lunar Eclipse partner to this one which occurred in Capricorn, your 12th House of spirituality, enlightenment, seclusions, hidden enemies, self-undoing and institutions. Lunar eclipses tend to operate more on the emotional plane and stir something up in that part of your life. Solar eclipses tend to precipitate external events, though in some cases the circumstances from which they evolved could have been affected by you subconsciously as a result of your emotional reaction to the lunar eclipse.

With regard to this eclipse watch for opportunities to move forward in an entirely different direction which will have a deep, transformational effect on you. Sudden or unexpected news from someone close to you that could involve a sibling or neighbor or perhaps result in a sudden trip to a familiar place, is highly likely. Adjustments and course changes in numerous areas are likely which will definitely challenge your Fixed Sign propensity. Remember to bear in mind that unless you are deliriously happy with the status quo, that things have to change to get better. There is a tremendous amount of transformational activity going on for you and could involve love or money in one way or another. Resolving old issues from the past is favored so you can clear the way for new experiences. Avoid being delusional or too idealistic though inspiration is definitely out there.

Restructuring your life is going to require a variety of negotiations. Personal change doesn't always come easily but may be required to get where you want to go. Your mind is likely to be very active and nearly exploding with ideas and information. These could be influenced by close relatives such as your brothers, sisters, cousins or possibly long-term neighbors. There's a lot going on which will also generate a plethora of errands and running around, often on short notice. Restructuring your life at a deep, lasting level will be best accomplished through spiritual renewal and getting in close touch with your true self. It's important that you find the time to contemplate the various events occurring in your life and your place in them. If you haven't achieved as much as you feel like you should have, now is the time to determine what has been holding you back. Perhaps you have friends, associates or even relatives who seek to undermine you and you've been purposely ignoring this because it's too painful or messy to confront. Maybe your own weaknesses have been sabotaging your efforts or you may even do so more directly because you don't think you deserve any better. Now is the time to integrate all of this together so that you understand the dynamics and energy flow of the situation. Find out where things get out of hand and divert from where you'd like them to go.

Close relationships will play an important part this month. These include close friends and relatives, business partners, your significant other as well as any competitors or open enemies. These individuals can provide important feedback and insights; this can be a favorable time for counseling if you become overwhelmed with what it going on around you. Any old dirt you've been sweeping under the rug is accumulating and it's going to start tripping you; ignoring it isn't going to be possible. It's time to clean house, similar to clearing out the garage or attic, which allows you to make room for new, valuable items as you get rid of the old junk. Watch for increased understanding and a deeper understanding of the world around you. Let go of old hurts and possibly people who are not allowing you to move forward.

The Full Moon on July 25 occurs in your Sign of Aquarius. If your birthday is within a day or so of January 24 this will have even more impact. A Full Moon usually brings an ending or culmination, such as the end of one phase as you move to the next, which in this case will occur at a personal level. While most of what you need to be doing this month involves a lot of lucid thought and contemplation, your emotions will come into play with this lunation more than before. This could be due to a new or existing relationship. Numerous disruptions and sudden changes will continue for several months as your Sign Ruler, Uranus, and Jupiter, both conjunct in Aries, continue to stir things up with your thoughts and ideas, siblings, neighbors, and local activities. Both planets are retrograde by this time, which changes the flavor of their energy. Uranus retrograde becomes even more unpredictable than when he's direct and Jupiter retrograde typically points toward ethical issues. Events and situations that arise during this time are going to be in effect for a while and won't be solved quickly. Relationships are going to be important and provide a lot of information for you to ponder. Inspiration is available and may come in strange ways. Perhaps a song on the radio will have a strong effect and go beyond simple chance.

July 8: You may not be perceiving the situation at work in an objective manner. Make an effort to employ your Air Sign logic to see things as they really are. Be prepared to make a few adjustments as a result. Someone close to you may disappoint you in some way today, perhaps because you were seeing them through rose-colored glasses. Love is blind, but only to a point. Ponder today's events when you have a quiet moment for their deeper meaning, which is likely to change your beliefs and expectations in some way.

July 9 - 10: Mercury goes into Leo which should enhance communications in your close personal and professional relationships. Put it to good use until the 27th when he goes into Virgo. Expect some surprises today, perhaps from a sibling, neighbor, or while running errands. A change of course is headed your way, either with regard to a relationship or perhaps your finances. A lot will be going on at work today. Sift through all the activity for an opportunity that has the potential to change you life and send you in an entirely different direction. Venus goes into Virgo, bringing her blessings to your house of sex, death and regeneration, transformation, and other people's resources.

July 11: New Moon/Solar Eclipse today as described above. Remember that the effects of an eclipse can linger for months so don't expect to see everything today.

July 13: Love or money is going to necessitate some adjustments or a change of course. Weigh your options carefully. Incorporate as much soul-searching as required to learn from the past. Be especially aware of whether anyone is trying to undermine you, including yourself.

July 20: A change of course will be apparent at work; be prepared to leave something related to it behind, but make sure you're inspired and not delusional before you make any hard decisions.

July 21: Saturn goes into Libra, bringing his wisdom to your house of beliefs, expectations, relocation, higher learning and legal matters. If you're reworking one of these areas, this will help you buckle down and do what's required to reach your goals.

July 22: Seeing your job more clearly will help you determine a new direction, starting with your philosophy of life.

July 23: The Sun goes into Leo today, bringing his light and emphasis to your relationships. Jupiter goes retrograde, which will turn your thoughts and perceptions toward ethical issues of one sort or another. July 26: This is a very busy day, astrologically speaking. There are several exact aspects which tend to be where actions and events peak. You may feel under attack from someone close to you today, but turn up the gain on your logic and listen as objectively as possible. Something from your past is affecting your present relationships. You're going to have to resolve them in order to move forward. Ethics will be in the forefront again and may relate to one or more siblings or simply occupy your mind. Be prepared to change course as the result of an "Aha!" moment. Breaking away from someone or something is likely.

July 27: Mercury goes into Virgo, enhancing your thought processes and helping you to sort through the events surrounding you. This is likely to change your thoughts abruptly and likewise your course.

July 30: Mars goes into Libra today which will help you take action with regard to your circumstances. It will be easier to gather the information you need, adjust your beliefs and expectations as required, and decide on where you stand. You may finally start making significant progress with regard to resolving some of those past issues that have been holding you back. That you'll be making a few adjustments is a given, perhaps abruptly or with with a sense of rebellion.
