New Moon Eclipse 9/11/2007

Full Moon 9/26/2007

Venus Direct:  9/07/2007

Pluto Direct:  9/06/2007

Other RX Planets:  Uranus, Neptune

The first week of the month should bring a few noticeable changes for Crabs.  Venus, who's been retrograde in your Natural 2nd House of possessions, pleasures, and finances, will go direct on September 7th.  If these particular items seem to have been being held hostage over the past few months, this is probably the reason, since that is the effect of retrograde motion, to internalize the energy generated by the given planet.  It could also have had some affect on your relationships, causing you to spend more time than usual thinking about them in the various venues of your life.  As a Water Sign, you are emotionally driven and those around you mean a great deal to you and your well-being.  If no progress has been made in these areas since near the end of July, then this is probably the reason.

This apparent release could appear to come on the heels of an unexpected event of some sort.  Uranus, planet of upsets, surprises, rebellion and change, will be quincunx Venus for roughly the first week of the month.  These vibes will hail from your Natural 9th House of higher education, legal matters and long-distance travel, so expect the unexpected from one of those areas.  This event could require some concessions on your part, but won't necessarily be a problem, other than perhaps stirring up some action at the spiritual level when it connects with Mars , who is spending most of the month in your Natural 12th House of spirituality, transcendence and the collective consciousness.  This isn't an especially good place for Mars to hang out as his energy really isn't all that conducive to spiritual enlightenment.  If anything, it could possibly be counter-productive to any efforts you may make in that area, or keep you so distracted that you don't have time to even think about anything of a spiritual nature.  Mars is sextile Venus, however, which will create some positive interactions relative to those 2nd House matters discussed above.  Perhaps he'll deliver some inspiration that will relate to your finances or other possessions right about the time that Venus quits swimming the backstroke.

Another factor that has been messing with your 2nd House for nearly two years now is Saturn, who will have delivered various lessons in responsibility, boundaries, obligations, discipline, restrictions and delays.  These are obviously not particularly cheery topics that are frequently less than pleasant to learn.  Therefore it will be really good news that this is about to end, come September 3rd, when Saturn moves into Virgo for a similar two-year visit.  Being as Saturn is far from fun, moving into your Natural 3rd House isn't necessarily good news, yet it's still better than having him messing with your possessions.  Maybe.  In your Natural 3rd House he'll work with your mental processes, siblings, and immediate neighborhood.  These are areas where qualities such as discipline, responsibility and obligations are no more cheerful than anywhere else, yet, depending on how well you have these traits perfected, the challenges may be less noticeable.  As a Water Sign, disciplined thinking may be a bit of an enigma if you always think with your heart instead of your head.  This will give you the opportunity to discipline your thoughts, deal with your siblings and neighbors more logically, and also meet any obligations related to your mental abilities in a more disciplined manner.

The New Moon eclipse will occur in Virgo, this same House, on September 11th and further heralds a new beginning for you in this area.  As your Sign Ruler, lunations will be very significant for you.  Speaking of which, the Full Moon on the 26th will occur in Aries, your Natural 10th House of career, community standing and reputation.  This could indicate the culmination of some activity in one of these areas, particularly if your birthday falls between June 23 - 27.  Also worthy of note is the fact that this Full Moon will quincunx Saturn, further motivating any adjustments necessary as Saturn enters your 3rd House.  Perhaps you'll change careers or obtain more responsibility that will require you to adjust your thinking patterns.  These aspects all tend to work together in a well-synchronized cosmic dance and it's often difficult to tell where one ends and another begins.

Communication and data giant, Mercury, will spend most of the month, i.e. from September 6 - 28, in Libra, your Natural 4th House.  This comprises your home environment, a place near and dear to a Cancer's heart.  Thus, that time period will be an outstanding one to communicate anything with anyone at your home.  Bear in mind if you don't live with a conventional family that your home environment will include where you bunk out at night and the people you share this abode with, whether it's barracks in the military, a dorm away at college, or anywhere else that you could possibly call home.

This should be an interesting and mentally stimulating month for you as your possession and finances get out of Saturn's grip and new challenges of a mental nature begin.  Depending on what stresses you out, this could be an improvement.  At any rate, things are changing and it's very likely that you'll be more comfortable in the months to come than you have the recent past.
