Your ruling planet, Venus, is one of Scorpio's visitors, though she is not particularly comfortable there.  The intensity of Scorpio and its covert tendencies are contrary to her softer vibes.  This is not to say that Bulls are weak.  Far from it.  However, they operate from a different plane, one that is more open and practical, even earth-based, if you will.  Not that Bulls can't be sneaky or devious, because they certainly can, but this trait usually manifests itself when they're backed into a corner which is when we all essentially enter our polar sign!  At any rate, that Full Moon in Taurus will be shining almost directly on Venus, so you can expect attention of some sort, most likely positive, at that time.  It could well be a good time to meet someone and start and new relationship, or perhaps renew or improve an existing one.  Bulls are romantic at heart (for those of you from the Baby Boomer era, remember how Ferdinand liked flowers....) and this could easily bring out that inclination.  The New Moon on the 20th, which occurs in Scorpio, will further reinforce these influences.

However, caution is also advised because we all have a Zodiacal problem right now known as Mercury retrograde (RX).  Mercury is also in Scorpio and for at least part of the time in conjunction with Jupiter.  While Jupiter is usually a benefic planet, when hooked up with Mercury RX, this might serve to magnify the ill-effects.  In case you're not familiar with what they are, some of the things you can expect are communication problems of all kinds.  This includes everything from conversations conducted though any media, whether in person, letter, telephone, or voice recording.  The words themselves are likely to be misunderstood and if you introduce electronics via cell phone or email, you're practically guaranteeing that the message will not be conveyed properly.  Mail is likely to get lost, phones break, computers crash, networks and cables go out, etc.  Even traffic lights are more likely to be messed up.  People don't think as clearly, particularly Virgos and Geminis, which likewise contributes to the overall problem.  Mechanical devices, including things like printers, ice makers and cars, are also more prone to problems.  If it has moving parts, they're less likely to be in synch.  Whatever you do, if you can possibly avoid it, never purchase anything in those categories during a Mercury RX period or you're inviting nothing but problems with whatever it is for as long as you own it.  I have an ice maker and a printer that have continued to teach me that lesson for quite a while.

[NOTE:--OMG!  Even as I write this, which is during the current Mercury RX period, the Universe is laughing at me and my rantings.  Thank heavens I've learned to save my work or everything above would have evaporated.  There I was,  pausing for barely a moment to consider my next thought, when POOF! the screen went blank and the computer rebooted!  Right now it appears that my cable/Internet connection is dead.  Need I say more?]

As I was saying, when I was so rudely interrupted by our Cosmic fiend, I mean friend, I know that Bulls have a strong affinity for their possessions.  In fact the Zodiacal 2nd House of Possessions is ruled by none other than Taurus.  I know that you shop carefully and frugally and if you get stuck with an inferior product a lot of that substantial energy of yours will be ruminating unhappily.  So keep that wallet buttoned up until at least the 18th, if you want to be happy with your purchases.  I wouldn't even buy clothes rights now.  Consider yourself warned.

Toward the end of the month, Venus, the Sun and Jupiter will move into Sagittarius.  As your Natural 8th House of sex, death and regeneration and other people's money, could bring some interesting developments.  You definitely like "other people's money" a lot and with your ruling planet in that house along with Jupiter, you might enjoy a windfall of some sort this month.  Pluto, Scorpio's ruler, has been there for quite a while which may have been causing a few problems in these areas, especially when combined with the fact that Saturn is transiting your 4th House which covers your home environment.  If your roof has been leaking, your appliances breaking down, foundation shifting and so forth, that could be the reason.  It could also have caused problems with home owner associations, tax authorities and so forth.  Thus the influx of some positive energy in your 8th House should bring some relief, even some positive reversals.  Keep your eyes open for opportunities in your typical, practical Earth Sign way and you may well benefit from something this month.

The past several months, since June to be exact, you may have had numerous surprises and unexpected events occur relative to your friends or other groups with which you're associated.  Any heartfelt aspirations of yours may have also been disrupted by a jolt or two that wasn't to your liking.  This situation should improve on the 20th when Uranus goes posigrade.  Retrograde planets restrict the planet's usual energy patterns and generally disrupt the normal flow of things.  Uranus is far from the epitome of stability, but now his influence should be more directed toward change rather than random unexpected events.  I know as a Fixed Sign you don't like change and your personal motto is probably mutacio malus (faux-Latin for Change is Bad), but it's inevitable and something you need to learn to accept.

This should generally be a good month for you with some negative trends from the past few months shifting to more pleasant directions.  Keep your eyes open and remember that even though you like to move in a slow and methodical manner, that sometimes windows of opportunity close.  However, don't forget that Mercury is out to get you until the 18th, so waiting on any purchases is a good thing.
