That cluster of planets that was transiting your Natural
4th House last month has now
dutifully moved on to your 5th. The 5th House influences your love life,
children, recreation and creative endeavors, so you can expect this month's
happenings to center around those areas. Most of the planets involved are
well-behaved. Venus
and Jupiter are both
benefic planets that usually bring good things to bear. You should have
positive experiences and be viewed in a positive light in this venue. At
least for the most part. The bad news is that
Mercury is there, too,
the little devil, and he's
retrograde (RX) until
November 18.
Mercury RX affects everyone, particularly those things that he rules such as communications. Whether by voice, paper or electrons, these will not run smoothly. Misunderstandings, lost mail (both snail and electronic variety), crashed computers and networks, poor cell phone service, cable outages, traffic lights on the blink (literally), ailing appliances and broken down cars are but some of the maladies that increase in number at this time. When you apply these problems to your 5th House you can expect such things as messed up dates. For example, if you go to a movie the projector will probably break down and there will be numerous misunderstandings and difficulties expressing yourself. Your children are likely to not convey important information (even more-so than usual) about such things as parent-teacher conferences, science fair projects and special programs. If they're in daycare, they're likely to be closed for some reason but forget to warn you in advance. You may also forget about doctor or dentist appointments for your kids or the providers may lose you off the calendar. You may even show up at the office to find out they've moved and you have no idea where. [NOTE:--Believe it or not, this happened to me after writing this. I got a postcard from my dentist stating that due to a computer malfunction they'd lost all record of their upcoming appointments.] Plans for recreational activities are likely to be messed up as well. The tennis courts will be shut down for repairs, the jogging trail roped off for the same reason or cards found on the floor after you make that Grand Slam at Bridge. Your creative side will most likely be asleep and stay there until the coast is clear. The Full Moon on the 5th in Taurus is in your Natural 11th House which covers group interactions as well as hopes and wishes. This should highlight some activities in these areas, though there may be some conflicts associated with them with all those opposing planets over in fellow Water Sign, Scorpio. In other words, it may not be possible to attend some group or club activity because of a conflict with your children's activities, although that is nothing new for most parents. If you don't have kids and you're dating someone, it could have a similar influence, i.e. you want to do something with your friends and your honey has a different idea. On the other hand, if you're totally single, you could possibly meet someone new at that time. As your ruling planet, the Moon influences you more strongly than others and lunations will affect you more than those without heavy Cancer influences in their charts. The New Moon on the 20th is in Scorpio within close proximity to Jupiter, which will enhance its effects. If you've had some surprises the last few months in the way of legal issues, long distance travel or higher education, these should level out when Uranus goes posigrade on the 20th. At that point whatever changes may be required in that area can begin to move forward and the random firedrills should slow down if not cease entirely. By the end of the month, the Sun, Jupiter and Venus will all be in Sagittarius, your Natural 6th House of work, health and pets. Pluto has been slinking along in that House for a long time and will be there quite a while longer. Of course he's already in a bad mood after being demoted to a Dwarf Planet, not that he was ever the most pleasant sort as god of the Underworld anyway. That transit has probably been causing you a lot of introspection regarding your job or career and what you really want to be when you grow up. The good news is that when this trio moves in around the third week of November that things should lighten up considerably, at least for a while. Fresh ideas should dawn, opportunities present themselves and something resembling good luck prevail. Be sure to keep your eyes and mind open and latch onto it like Crabs do when it passes by. |
