Mercury Posigrade 11/18/2006

Uranus Posigrade 11/20/2006

If your birthday falls between April 12-18, sometime this month Saturn will trine your Natal Sun.  Saturn is all about hard work, perseverance, delays, authority and other less than enchanting issues and he's residing in your Natural 5th House, which covers your love life, children, and creative endeavors.  The only good news is that a trine is usually a fairly positive aspect so if you've been battling with something relative to these areas you may find a solution or at least a comfortable path to pursue relative to solving these issues.

Your ruling planet, Mars, is hanging out in Scorpio for the entire month.  Before the discovery of Pluto, Mars ruled Scorpio so he's quite at home there.  The god of war definitely did not like that wussy, compromising, love-the-world atmosphere of Libra, so you should find your energy level increasing from what it was last month.  He has plenty of company over there, including the Sun, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter, which all just happen to be in the Natural 8th House which covers sex, death and regeneration, and other people's money (which sometimes is your money being handed over to others, like in paying your taxes).

Fortunately, Venus and Jupiter are usually friendly or benefic planets.  Venus in the 8th could mean a windfall, likewise Jupiter which could make it a BIG windfall.  The Full Moon in Taurus on the 5th which falls in your 2nd House of possessions could throw a little extra luck your way as well.   I wouldn't spend the rent on a lotto ticket, however.  In fact, I wouldn't spend a dime until after the 18th when Mercury comes out of retrograde.  After that, maybe, since the Full Moon will be in effect until the next one.  The New Moon on the 20th could give this a little extra punch, too, especially since it falls right on top of Jupiter, which tends to expand anything it touches.  But it's still not a sure thing.  Remember that the only things that are remain death and taxes, both of which fall in the 8th House, which is where all this activity happens to be.

Mercury retrograde is not a pretty sight.  If you're a regular here you've probably heard about it ad nauseam, but there are few astrological aspects more disruptive to our everyday lives than that.  I'll bet there's not a soul alive who hasn't already noticed the effects.  Electronics in general are more likely to crap out, likewise your car or anything else mechanical (e.g. icemakers).  Communications whether via speech, paper or electrons/internet break down, either by not being delivered properly or through misunderstandings.  If a Gemini or Virgo is in the loop it's even worse since it's their ruling planet.  With retrograde Mercury in your 8th House, it's very likely that these things not only won't work correctly, but their demise will also cost you money.  If anything is ready to go out on your car, it probably will now at the most inconvenient time.  Same with your computer, cell phone, TV, etc.  So cross your fingers 'til the 18th and don't make any bets until after that.  Look on the positive side: If your TV has to go out, let it do so now, before all those Thanksgiving football games.

Around the third week of November the Sun, Jupiter and Venus will leave Scorpio and glide into Sagittarius.  As previously noted, Venus and Jupiter are friendly, so their ingress will help balance out some of that Plutonian energy that's lived there unprovoked for quite a while.  This is your Natural 9th House which affects long distance travel, higher education and legal matters.  If you have anything in the works in those areas, they should receive a fairly positive boost.  Don't forget, however, about Mercury.  Just about anything associated with the 9th House is going to involve communications, so hang tight with your plans until after the 18th.  Believe it or not, however, Mercury RX is good for something and that is reworking something that wasn't done quite right the first time.  This includes any kind of paperwork, repairs, conversations and so forth.  So if something is messed up already, now is a good time to get it taken care of.

You'll be happy to know that on the 20th Uranus will also go posigrade.  As many jokes as could be made about that, I'll leave it alone.  It's been moving backwards since June and has probably set off a number of satchel charges in your psyche during that time.  Rams don't deal very well with 12th House/subconscious issues as it is since they generally have the same attitude as most dogs, i.e. "If you can't eat it or screw it, piss on it" and the workings of the subconscious can't even be pissed on other than to pretend they don't exist.  So, the good news is that once it starts moving in the proper direction again, hopefully it will simply facilitate change rather than disrupt your life with a series of unexpected, cosmic farts.  Time will tell, of which the Universe has plenty.
