May 2007 Forecast

Key Events:

Full Moon 5/02/2007

New Moon 5/16/2007

Full Moon 5/31/2007

Neptune Retrograde 5/25/2007

The first Full Moon on May 2nd occurs in Scorpio, your Natural 3rd House, which covers your communication skills, ideas, mental acuity, short trips and your immediate neighborhood.  Since Full Moons usually herald the culmination of something, this could mean anything from the completion of an idea to a move.  Whatever the details, there could be opportunities of some sort attached so make sure your use your native Virgo analytical skills to identify any that exist.  While we're talking about lunations, the New Moon occurs in Taurus on the 16th.

Since Full Moons usually indicate endings of some sort, it naturally follows that a New Moon is likely to welcome a new phase or beginning.  Since this one occurs in your Natural 9th House, which encompasses legal matters, higher education, ceremonies, and long distance travel, more than likely there is something in one of those areas that is in-work.  This month is unique in that there are two Full Moons this month, the second one on the 31st in Sagittarius.  This is called a Blue Moon and it's rarity obviously resulted in the cliché, "Once in a Blue Moon."  So now you know what that is, if you didn't before.  This one occurs in your Natural 4th House, which covers your home environment and early childhood experiences.  Since we're talking about another ending, this could mean anything from a child graduating from high school and getting ready to go away to college to the move noted above.  With the Sun as well as Mercury in that same vicinity, you can bet this will be a fairly major effort and, with Mercury involved, will involve some mental activity or nearly assures a move, even if no more than rearranging the furniture, or possibly helping someone else.

This Blue Moon in Sagittarius is in the company of Jupiter and Pluto, which are both retrograde.  More than likely there have been various concerns and challenges going on for some time now in your home environment.  Pluto generally indicates hidden issues, which could be anything from plumbing or wiring problems to family secrets.  Jupiter generally expands and multiplies upon anything he touches.  Thus, more than likely there has been a preponderance of one of these Plutonian elements in your life heretofore.  With any luck, the current phase will end with the Blue Moon.  However, since this pain will be in residence there for a while to come, similar problems will probably occur for a while.  During the retrograde period, which will last for several months, they are more likely to be internal than overt, so if anything is amiss, it's likely to be rumbling beneath the surface and will become apparent in the months to come.  Note that this isn't necessary something within your own home, but may also be something going on outside your immediate environment that will affect your later.

More than likely you've been doing a lot of daydreaming lately about what you do for a living.  You can blame that one on Neptune, who goes retrograde in your Natural 6th House of work, health and pets on May 25th.  Neptune can offer all kinds of inspiration to the point of transcendence, but what you need to look out for is the fact that sometimes he can present illusions and delusions, so you need to give a good sanity check to anything he proposes.  While retrograde, which will last several months, you're likely to be ruminating on something relative to your job or possibly your health.  As a Virgo, you're facts-oriented, so make sure you follow your instincts and put all your ducks in a row before making any changes.  Get it in writing and then read the fine print.  The Sun will enter your Natural 10th House of career and reputation on the 21st.  Recognize that your career reflects the general area in which you direct your efforts and your job is how you to this, day to day.  With the Sun throwing attention to your career, you may give some serious consideration to whether or not you're in the correct place, which of course ties in with everything else.

There may be some changes in your relationships, including a possible disagreement of some kind, in the first half of the month.  Blame Uranus for that one all you want, but try to keep your cool and not be too pouty or ornery about whatever it happens to be, whether it's your significant other or business partner that you wish to blame.  Virgos love to put things together and find the reason for things.  When a clear answer is lacking, the tend to blame someone else.  Just bear in mind it might be healthier for your long-term relations to blame Uranus (and think long and hard about the hidden pun in that statement.)

Saturn came out of retrograde in your Natural 12th House on April 22, which will allow something that's been trying to organize itself in your subconscious to break loose and enter your conscious mind.  This could be something inspirational or spiritual and if its principles are sound, you can have them solidly in place by the end of July.

You're likely to be looked upon favorably in any group involvement this month thanks to Venus.  This is likely to bring positive attention to you in some way and may present an opportunity of some sort that you shouldn't ignore.  Remember to give as  much credit to the planets as you do blame.

This is likely to be a busy and perhaps life changing month for you.  You'll be thinking a lot about your current direction in life and deciding whether or not to take one of the approaching crossroads, both with respect to your residence and how you earn a living.  The Universe is nudging you along in the path you need to go.  All you need to do is pay attention.
