Full Moon in Scorpio on
May 2nd occurs in your Natural 10th
House of career and reputation. If your birthday falls during the
first week of February this is likely to be noticeable. Full Moons
generally herald the culmination of something, or at least the end of a phase.
In addition, this one could stir up some strong secret longings, though they're
likely to conflict with your sense of responsibility and desire for stability.
You may have to make a choice between them (big surprise) which probably won't
be easy. You may feel as if you really need a change, which is a big deal
for you Fixed Signs, and not an
easy decision in the first place, yet you don't know if you're willing to accept
the risks involved. Since your
Sign Ruler is
Uranus, planet of
surprises and unexpected events, occasionally things sneak up on you, but I
suspect in this case you're thinking, "Tell me something I don't already know."
If this is something you've been ruminating upon for a while, coming to a final decision point will actually be a relief. Another thing that bodes well for things finally moving along is the fact that Saturn, who's in opposing sign, Leo, came out of retrograde (RX) on April 22. Saturn can really throw major delays at you, and while RX was stirring up some major subconscious considerations that more than likely had something to do with the relationships in your life. Now you'll be able to determine what they are and make some decisions that you should have in place by the end of July. So the end of this road that you've been trudging down for months now is finally coming into your destination. The New Moon in Taurus on the 16th could reinforce all this other stuff since it may herald a new beginning, possibly regarding your home environment, which could involve people, places or things. Again, there may be some conflicting choices, but at least they will present themselves for what they are and no longer be a hodge-podge of confusion. In addition, Taurus is where the Sun is most of this month, so that provides some additional emphasis. Mercury is there until the 11th, which will give a boost to any related communications. So this month should be a significant one for you. This month we also have a second Full Moon on the 31st, which is obviously within the same calendar month. This is known as a Blue Moon. Since this is a somewhat rare occurrence, it is the origin of the expression "Once in a Blue Moon." I'm sure that is something you've wondered about for years, right? Anyway, that lunation occurs in your Natural 11th House of group interactions, hopes and wishes and should bring some opportunities with it. However, they may be a bit on the subtle side and reflect more upon your attitudes than the corporeal world. That is because both Jupiter and Pluto are there, also, and both are retrograde. While Jupiter is RX he tends to force considerations relative to ethics and moral issues; while Pluto is RX, as the Zodiacal back-hoe, he'll dig up your figurative septic tank that contains all that old, well, crap, from your past that you've conveniently flushed away without close examination. Since this is in your 11th House, these issues will likely apply to your group activities and perhaps your hopes and wishes. So if you find yourself wondering about your social life or the quality of some of your friends, the impetus probably derived from these two outer planets. Nonetheless, there are some opportunities involved with all this, so don't view it as a bad thing. Your ruling planet, Uranus, may be up to no good. It may have already occurred, since the aspect was exact on April 29th, and you'll probably recognize it if it has, but if not it's likely that his encounter with Mars will bring (or has brought) some annoyance relative to your possessions, comforts or pleasures. Something may break down, you might suffer an injury of some sort, or plans for some fun may be rained out in one way or another. No telling, but whatever it may be (or was) now you know whom to blame. It's usually not a good thing when those two get together. The good news, however, is as Mars moves on into your Natural 3rd House, which governs your mental processes, immediate neighborhood and short trips, that he'll deliver some additional energy and possibly some new opportunities. More good news is that Venus, who is usually a benefic (or friendly) planet, is hanging out in your Natural 5th House which encompasses your children, love life and creativity for the first week of the month. This will bring good things your way in that area, and when she moves into your Natural 6th House on the 8th, she should shed some blessings upon your work, health and pets, if any. All in all, this should be a very significant month for you. Things that have been in work for months or even longer are likely to come to fruition. Pay attention closely and be poised to make some key decisions that will have a great influence on your future. The planets are definitely working for you this month. |
