This should be a significant month for
you, particularly as it relates to your home life. The lunations this
month are both eclipses, as you probably noted above which means they have more
punch than the usual Full and New
Moon. A Full Moon
eclipse signifies the culmination of something that started around the time of
the previous New Moon eclipse, in this case the one that occurred in Libra on
September 22 last fall. Thus, something occurred at that time in your
Natural 11th House which
encompasses group activities, friends and hopes and wishes that is now coming to
completion. Since the Full Moon is in your Natural 10th House of career,
reputation and community standing, it's possible that your original situation
has wound up such that you are in a different career or position in your
community than you were six months ago. Even if you don't especially like
the outcome, it's over and you can move on. The New Moon on March 18 occurs in Pisces, your Natural 4th House which governs your home environment. This will undoubtedly initiate some related activity that will draw your attention until the next Full Moon eclipse this coming autumn. There's a lot of other activity in Pisces as well that will color these events. For one, the Sun is there until March 21 when he moves into Aries. The Sun's presence always throws light and emphasis on the elements of the House he's in. Thus, as Ol' Sol moves around the Zodiac he casts light into the twelve basic areas of life as defined by the twelve houses. [NOTE:--These Natural Houses are different for each Sun Sign plus we each have Natal Houses as well, that are often different than the Natural Houses unless we happened to be born around sunrise.] At any rate, this month you can expect to see a lot of emphasis on your home life. Also currently residing in Pisces in none other than Uranus, planet of surprise, changes, innovation and unexpected events. That alone should tell you to expect something, though he's been there for a long time meaning there have probably been more disruptions and issues than you can count over the past few years. However, with the Sun there also and Mars coming up in the rear, it's very likely that sometime around March 5 or possibly between March 16-19 something will occur of note relative to home, particularly if your birthday is around December 5 - 10th. This could involve family members or even your home itself, such as an unexpected repair. At least Mercury moves into that same neighborhood the same day as the New Moon, i.e. March 18, which will enhance communications relative to these issues. This is not to say that whatever happens will be bad, but it is likely to present a challenge of some sort even if the ultimate outcome is very much to your liking. Your Natural 3rd House, which rules your intellect, is currently cluttered with a variety of planetary characters. Mercury is there until the 18th as noted above, which is a good thing. Your thinking will be enhanced as well as your ability to communicate your ideas to others. Maybe. Also in residence is Neptune, who can bring along a bit of fantasy, idealism and even delusion. If you need to be working on a problem of some sort that requires a creative solution, however, this could be a very good thing and the aspects are generally favorable. Mars is there as well, which will provide a bit of energy and drive to direct this inspiration, especially around March 26 when he's passing Neptune. Somewhat related to all this is the fact that retrograde Saturn is parked in your Natural 9th House which covers higher education, long distance travel and legal matters. Saturn and Neptune are in opposition which will cause a see-saw effect, largely between your fantasies and reality. The 9th House is homebase for Sagittarius, however, so this is someplace where you can hold your own. Furthermore, your planetary ruler, Jupiter, is in favorable aspect to Saturn which should assure a favorable outcome as well. While Saturn is retrograde, which will be until April 21, there will be significant activity at the subconscious level relative to 9th House matters mentioned above. Knowing how Sagittarius loves knowledge and learning, perhaps you're ruminating on going back to school or taking an extended trip abroad. Come April 21 these thoughts should break the surface of your consciousness and you'll have a good sense of direction regarding what you need to do. Thus, any debates raging between your ideals and fantasies and your personal realities should find resolution by mid-summer. Venus starts the month in Aries, your Natural 5th House which includes your creativity, love interest and children. Needless to say this is a very favorable placement that should bode well for activities in those areas. She moves on March 18 (certainly the date of most activity this month) to Taurus, you Natural 6th House of work and health, another very nice place for her to be. Thus, you should be looked upon favorably at work, which should minimize some of the routine hassles we encounter everyday in that venue. To summarize, the bulk of this month's activity will be relative to your home life. Other factors of note will include resolving the fantasy - reality dichotomy, which Sagittarius is very well-qualified to do since the related Houses involve mental activity and philosophical matters where you feel right at home. |
