The
Sun, your
ruling planet,
is currently in Pisces, your Natural 8th
House. This is rather
serious territory that encompasses intimate relationships, death and
regeneration, and other people's money. Bear in mind that "death and
regeneration" doesn't just refer to dying, but includes anything in your life
that requires deep and significant change. Thus, if there's anything in
your life that needs major remodeling, you are likely to be confronted by it
this month, or more specifically sometime before March 21, when the Sun moves
into Aries. Besides, the Sun, there are several other things of an astrological nature going on in this same neighborhood. Uranus, planet of change, surprises and unexpected events, has been hanging out there for quite sometime now. Thus, if you've seen several upsets in one or more of those 8th House areas, then he's your culprit. Or hero, I suppose, if the changes have been to your liking. For the first week or so of March more changes or surprises are very likely. These will undoubtedly get your attention, whether you like it or not, and it's probably a good idea to give them some serious thought. This is not to say that they'll be bad; they're just as likely to be good. If your birthday falls during the first week of August, this will undoubtedly be impossible to ignore, whatever it is, and will probably require that you take a good, hard look at some area of your life. There's a good chance that something could occur between March 16-19 to call further attention to this issue. Chances are you're going to have to let something go in order to move on and this may not be easy. There will be some additional help on March 18 with the New Moon, however, which usually ushers in something new. This lunation is more powerful than the norm because it's also an eclipse, meaning its effects will be in force until the next Full Moon eclipse, which will occur in the fall. Your thought processes about all this will be enhanced when Mercury moves into Pisces on the 18th, so take advantage of all these planetary influences to figure out exactly where you need to be going with your life. There is undoubtedly something that requires major rework in your life and now is the time to get to it. On the personal level there has been quite a bit going on as well. Saturn has been parked in your Natural 1st House for quite a while and the fact he's currently retrograde turns much of this action inward. Saturn is all about responsibility, which is not always fun. It can be rewarding and help us to advance in life, but it's not necessarily something that Leos enjoy. The retrograde situation will be stirring something up in your subconscious that relates to this in some way. If you've been ignoring your responsibilities this will be nagging you unmercifully to shape up. It could also trigger confrontations with authority figures of all varieties. Leos know deep within their big, kind heart that they are royalty so authority usually doesn't impress you very much, does it? More that likely your reaction to this concept is best expressed by the word "whatever." However, to get along in this life, it's essential to accept the fact that you're really not as high up that totem pole as you'd like to be. And if you haven't figured that out by now, more than likely you're being tutored by Saturn. When his motion goes direct again on April 21, the results of all these ruminations should surface so you can fully deal with them out in the open. All this Saturn activity is enough to deal with, but in typical Murphy's Law style, he is in opposition with Neptune right now which complicates things even more. Neptune and Saturn don't especially get along very well and right now they're in a tug-o-war. While Saturn tends to kick your butt like a malevolent drill sergeant, Neptune will try to lure you away to a fantasy world filled with delusions, idealism and pipe dreams. Neptune is in your Natural 7th House of relationships and is thus probably tending you to put some pretty unrealistic expectations on the people you're closest to, both on a personal and business level. So if you're trying to shirk your responsibilities, you can definitely blame Neptune. If your birthday falls during the second week of August you will be feeling this more than most. With Mercury retrograde in that neighborhood until March 8, any communications in that area until after that date are likely to be misunderstood in both directions. Bear that in mind and try to chill as much as possible until after that since discussions are not very likely to bear fruit. All this Fantasyland stuff is likely to get an additional boost around the 26th when Mars, the God of War, passes by Neptune, so be prepared. Those two don't get along any better than Neptune and Saturn, so it's likely that it won't be particularly pretty. If nothing else, be especially careful on the 26th, give or take a day or two, because there's a good chance that someone or something will really try to dupe you at that time. The Full Moon occurs on March 3 in your Natural 2nd House, which covers your possessions and pleasures. Since this lunation is also an eclipse, it will probably signal the culmination of some issue that began roughly six months ago, September 22, 2006 to be exact. That particular eclipse was in your Natural 3rd House which includes your learning style, intellectual abilities and also close relatives. Undoubtedly something in one of those areas has been going through some sort of change for the past six months, which is about to end, and it's probable that the conclusion will have an impact of some sort on your possessions or how you enjoy life. All in all, there's a lot going on for Leos these days. Naturally you'd rather just lay in the Sun beneath your ruler, which is clearly the center of the solar system, and let the various minions and moolyaks respond to your beckon-call. Chances of this occurring, however, are along the same as a snowball surviving a Houston summer. Reality checks aren't fun, but they're essential so give it some serious thought. Failure to do so will undoubtedly bite you at some point (or place) when you least expect it. |
