March 2007 Forecast

Key Events:

Full Moon 3/03/2007 (Eclipse)

New Moon 3/18/2007 (Eclipse)

Mercury Direct 3/08/2007

The lunations this month are particularly significant since they are also eclipses.  Eclipses have a lot more punch than the usual Full or New Moon in that they respectively end and initiate another cycle relative to the House in which they fall.  In other words, the Full Moon in Virgo on March 3 will mark the culmination of something that originated last September 22 with the New Moon eclipse that occurred in Libra.  This issue probably related to your career, reputation or community standing in some manner.  These 10th House matters are where Capricorn shines, no matter how challenging the situation or issue may have been.  With the upcoming Full Moon in your 9th House, which governs higher education, long distance travel, legal matters and you general philosophy of life, it is likely that whatever issue you've been wrestling with will find its solution in one of those areas.  For example, if it was a dilemma regarding your career perhaps the resolution will best be found in going back to school, a job transfer to another state, worst-case by a lawsuit or maybe it's just a matter of you changing your expectations.

As one cycle ends, another begins and on March 18 the New Moon eclipse falls in your Natural 3rd House which covers your intellect and mental activity as well as close relatives such as brothers and sisters.  There are several other cosmic visitors in Pisces that will also have an influence on this situation.  The Sun will be there until March 21 when he moves into Aries.  When the Sun transits a given House he throws light and emphasis on that particular area of your life, in this case learning new skills and communicating your thoughts to others.  In addition, Mercury will move in on March 18 along with the New Moon, which will further enhance your mental abilities.  Also in residence is Uranus, planet of change, surprises, unexpected events and innovation.  If you're currently wrestling with a problem, there couldn't be a better combination of planets to help you solve it.  At any rate, this is what you can expect to be dealing with for approximately the next six months until it's closed out by the next Full Moon eclipse this autumn.

Your ruling planet, Saturn is retrograde in your Natural 8th House which encompasses your intimate relationships, death and regeneration, and other people's resources.  Note that death and regeneration is figurative and applies to anything that needs to be torn down and rebuilt.  This retrograde situation will stimulate subconscious ruminations on something relative to your 8th House.  When Saturn goes direct on April 21, these thoughts should break the surface of your conscious mind and you'll know what needs to take place in the given area(s).  Chances are by mid-summer that this will be resolved.

One possible complication, however, is the fact that Neptune is in opposition to Saturn and probably not exactly helping the situation.  In other words, Neptune is hanging out in your Natural 2nd house that covers your possessions and pleasures.  The King of the Deep is the master of deception and also tends to place a little too much idealism in the mix to say nothing of downright fantasy.  Capricorns above just about everyone else except for fellow Earth Sign, Taurus, should be fairly resistant to this due to your strong sense of practicality.  Nonetheless, you may find yourself being more indulgent than usual in your purchases only to feel guilty about them later, especially if you had to finance them.  There is also the possibility that something could break down, especially before March 8 while Mercury is still retrograde in this neighborhood.  Later in the month, on or right around March 26, an event of some sort could occur that bursts the bubble in one way or another.  For example, something could break down and you have no choice but to face the reality of whether or not you can afford what you really want to replace it.

Your home life should be pleasant this month while Venus transits Aries.  There should be good feelings amongst family members and your home should generally run smoothly.  On March 18 she moves into Taurus, your Natural 5th House which includes your creative efforts, love life and children.  She is certainly welcome there as well as she should shed some positive vibes in that vicinity that will be rather pleasant.  This transit could trigger a new relationship, enhance an existing one or possibly bring about some favorable events relative to your creative endeavors or children.

All in all this month should hold some interesting and pleasant events as well as a challenge or two that you should find stimulating.  Old issues will be resolved and new ones take their place, but there is nothing there that Cappies shouldn't be able to handle with ease.
