March 2007 Forecast

Key Events:

Full Moon 3/03/2007 (Eclipse)

New Moon 3/18/2007 (Eclipse)

Mercury Direct 3/08/2007

This month the Sun is transiting your Natural 9th House, which covers such areas as higher education, legal matters, ceremonies, and long distance travel.  This will highlight these areas for you, perhaps inclining you to think of going back to school, taking a trip abroad or perhaps initiating something that involves a ceremony or the legal process, which includes such things as purchasing a home due to all the legal paperwork involved.  In this same neighborhood with the Sun are Uranus and Mercury, which could spur additional activity in this area.  Uranus is the planet of change and unexpected events and Mercury is the master of communications.  Mercury went retrograde on Valentine's Day, but will go direct on March 8.  These periods are famous for anything of a mechanical or electronic nature breaking down.  Computer glitches, cell phone problems, cable outages, car problems and the like are all common occurrences.  Your thought processes tend to be more internal during this period, i.e. it's a good time to think about stuff though you may not be able to express these same thoughts in a very coherent manner to someone else.  Bottom line, while Mercury has been in Pisces, you may have been ruminating on some of these 9th House issues as a result.

If you've been thinking of doing something along these lines, the New Moon on March 18 is also in this area and will thus give you a bit of a boost to get started.  New Moons signal new beginnings and this one has additional punch since it's also an eclipse, meaning that its effects will last until the next one in about six months.  Remember that your ruling planet is the Moon, so you're likely to notice these effects more than others.  Right about that same time, from March 16-19, Mars will be kicking Uranus, which will provide even more impetus for a big change. So now is a good time to give it a shot, whatever it is, when the cosmos is backing you in various ways.

While we're talking about lunations, the Full Moon is on March 3 and occurs in Virgo, your Natural 3rd House, which covers your mental processes, i.e. how you communicate, think and so forth.  Full Moons (and this one is also an eclipse with long-term effects that will last roughly six months) usually indicate at ending of some sort, probably to something that started about six months ago, so maybe it's time for you to change your way of thinking or communicating in some area, which ties in rather well with all that activity in the 9th House.  In other words, the Universe is trying to tell you something.  Only you know what is going on in your mind and heart these days and which of these areas is most apropos, but I'll give you dollars to donuts one of them has been bouncing around in your head for a while now.  Thus, the planets are in your favor to make something happen NOW so take advantage of it while it lasts.  Once they move on to other signs and houses things won't go nearly as well as they will now, so "Git 'r' Dun!"

Things at work have probably been going pretty much in your favor for the last few months.  You've probably had a few opportunities to expand your responsibilities and possibly even received some positive recognition for your hard work.  In the background, however, you may have been having some subconscious rumblings regarding whether or not you're really in the right place.  This, of course, ties in with everything else going on this month regarding other life changes, such as going back to school.  If you're wasting your time in a job you really don't like, more than likely Pluto has been trying to tell you this for a long, long time.  The God of the Underworld takes his time but does a very thorough job of unearthing things that need to be revitalized in some manner.  This could also relate to health issues, so if you haven't been feeling well you need to pay attention to that as well.  At any rate, life is too short to spend a third of your life doing something you really don't like.  We tend to excel in things we can put our heart into, so do the math.

Along similar lines, Venus is in your Natural 10th House until March 18.  She should be doing nice things in the career area as well.  Perhaps the job and career are the right field but it's time to look at advancement.  This House also relates to community status, so good things may occur there as well.  When she moves into your Natural 11th House of group activities, friends, hopes and wishes on the 18th, you can expect some positive things to occur there as well.  Chances are if you move on some of the other things going on this month, like going back to school or buying a house, you'll be making some new friends, involving yourself in new social circles and/or achieving some of your long-term hopes and wishes.

The one remaining aspect to look at for significance in all this is Saturn, who's currently retrograde in your Natural 2nd House of possessions and pleasures.  The effect of this is to cause some subconscious consideration relative to responsibilities in the House involved.  In other words, if you've been irresponsible in any way relative to your possessions or a little too indulgent, Saturn will give you some serious pause.  Like I said, this action is going to be primarily in your subconscious for now, but by April 21 it should become apparent what you need to correct.  Maybe you need to spend less money, take better care of what you have, or match your purchases to your income a little better.

In summary, this should be an active and significant month with lots of decisions and opportunities for you to move along the path of life.  Do it with appropriate consideration and practicality but don't ignore the feelings in your heart.  The cosmos is rooting for you right now, so exercise the needed faith to get where you really want to be.
