The long-term action from Jupiter and Pluto retrograde (RX) in your Natural 4th House, which comprises your home environment, early upbringing, family and traditions, continues and will for sometime to come. The effects are likely to be deep and transformational, which will ultimately affect your view of the world in significant ways. Jupiter RX tends to force deep consideration of ethical issues that are a reflected in your philosophy of life. This is something that evolves over time and is affected by your life experiences. Every time you have a significant experience, the outcome will leave it's mark on how you view the world. Of particular note is the fact that Jupiter will go direct on August 7th. At that time, the introspection period will end and absorption of the new principle will begin. Jupiter is generally a very benefic planet who expands and increases what he touches, so you can expect an increase in family-related matters from that point on for quite a while. As noted numerous times in these astrocasts, Pluto is usually considered one of the bad actors of the Zodiac. That is because he tends to be the Astrological Medical Examiner or Roto-Rooter. While he's RX, which is actually about half the year, he will be digging around in this area for old garbage that you buried in a plastic bag rather than disposing of it properly. In the 4th House you can bet that this will relate in some way to skeletons in the closet (either your own or those of other family members). The good news is that while it may not be too much fun to deal with this old crap, once it's properly dealt with it will quietly decompose and fertilize that part of your figurative yard or garden and allow you to move on. Jupiter in this same House should assist with this and help you synthesize the data and incorporate it into your core beliefs in a very deep and expansive way that will ultimately enrich your experiences with your family. So if family-related matters seem to be popping up like toadstools, before you just stomp them into oblivion think about the conditions that spawned them, what their message is, and what you need to do to keep them from coming up in the first place. The Full Moon on the 29th is in your Natural 6th House of work, pets and health. Virgo rules this House on the Universal level so these are areas that are near and dear to your heart. (If you don't understand all these different House definitions, read the section on Houses.) Full Moons usually signal an ending of some sort, so this could mean something related to one of these areas has been completed. Neptune is strolling through this House, meaning another long-term effect. Neptune tends to be idealistic but can also set us up for delusions. If you tend to expect too much from your job, employer, boss or coworkers, it could well be because of this transit, which will be especially powerful for Virgos, who tend to be perfectionists. Remember that the workplace is filled with imperfect people like anywhere else and there is no such thing as the perfect job. If your expectations are out of whack you set yourself up for disappointment which will result in lots of grousing, which will undoubtedly annoy those around you. Neptune on the positive side can be inspirational, so use some creative thought combined with your natural Virgo practicality to determine what you can do realistically to improve the situation. This could be as simple as changing your attitude or as complex as changing careers. At any rate, don't ignore it because it won't go away anytime soon, but give it some serious thought. Work is important to you and if you're not happy there you're not going to be happy anywhere else, either. If you've noticed various upsets in your one-on-one relationships which include close friends, business partners and significant others it's because Uranus is parked in your Natural 7th House. If your birthday falls within a few days one way or the other of September 11, something is likely to come up in this area that will require some negotiations to resolve. With Mars transiting your Natural 9th House of long distance travel, higher education, religion, and legal matters you can expect an infusion of energy relative to those areas. This is occurring in fellow Earth Sign, Taurus, so the effects should be positive. If you need to get something done with respect to one or more of these venues, now is an excellent time to tackle it. The Sun and Mercury are in Cancer most of the month (the Sun moves into Leo on July 23) with the New Moon occurring there as well on the 14th. This lunation could herald a new beginning of some sort for 11th House issues that include friends, organizations, hopes and wishes. The Sun will bring emphasis to this area and Mercury stimulate communications. Mercury is RX until the 10th, however, so don't expect anything to go forward until after then. At any rate, expect something new to come along in this area, whether it's a new group of friends, involvement in a new organization, or perhaps a new hope for the future. Last but far from least, Saturn and Venus are dancing in your Natural 12th House which encompasses spirituality, transcendence and institutions. These two are quite the unlikely pair but can be amazingly complementary. Saturn is usually the Zodiacal wet blanket while Venus is well-represented by the Goddess of Love. When these two get together like this, however, there is a good chance they can bring out the best of one another. Saturn shoves our nose in our obligations and responsibilities, but with Venus along for the ride, this is likely to be a pleasant experience. If you've been neglecting this area of your life or something comes along that forces the issue, Venus will more than likely assure a pleasant outcome and take the sharp edges off of Saturn's hard lessons. This is a lot of energy in this department, so give yourself a break this month and do something that feeds your soul, even if it's not more than a vow to watch and ponder a few sunsets. The result should be pleasant. The action this month is largely positive and offers quite a few opportunities. Family, work, friends and your spirituality are all emphasized, with your 9th House turbocharged. Make use of this astrological assistance and you'll like where you are when the month is over. |
