The New Moon on the 14th occurs in your Natural 9th House which includes foreign travel, legal matters, religion, politics and higher education. All of these have a philosophical flavor, and with the Sun and Mercury in that same neighborhood, which happens to be the sign, Cancer, you should encounter something new relative to one or more of those areas this month. Bear in mind that Mercury is retrograde (RX) until July 10th, which could affect communications, particularly in those areas. If you're planning a trip abroad, anything of a legal nature, or starting the paperwork to go back to school, chances are you won't make any progress. On the other hand, it's a good time to rethink and redo things that are already in-work. Double check those plans, reread those legal documents or think long and hard about that course of study. Mercury goes RX approximately three times a year and most people dread it, but in a way it's the Universe giving us the opportunity to rewind part of our life in a figurative sense and reconsider what we need to be doing with regard to the House he's transiting. So use the first part of the month to be thinking about how you've gotten to where you are, then use that New Moon after that RX period is over to start something new that will enrich your life.

The Full Moon on the 29th occurs in Aquarius, your Natural 4th House of home environment. This could indicate the culmination of something that has been going on in that area. For example, if you've been trying to sell your home or buy a new one this is likely to signal it times to close on a deal. It could also indicate the completion of a project or phase of some kind, such as a grown child moving out. With Neptune camped out in this House you may tend to be a bit idealistic about family and your home. Make sure that you keep your expectations realistic or you may set yourself up for some serious disappointments. There could also be a tendency toward delusion or being deceived in some manner. For example, be very careful about anyone you hire for home repairs. Ask for references and check them out. Also, if you have any relatives of the blood-sucking variety, turn up the gain on that Scorpio radar if they start nosing around for some help or a handout.

Your ruling planet, Pluto, is still in Sagittarius, where he's been hanging out for a long, long time. Since November 11, 1995, to be exact, and he'll be there for a while longer. This is your Natural 2nd House, which encompasses possessions, pleasures, comforts, and finances. During this time you have probably been inclined to take these things very seriously. If you're acquiring something new, you need to unearth everything possible about it, preferably before you buy it. If you don't, in all likelihood it will bite you in some manner later, as something hidden surfaces. As a Scorpio, you're the master or mistress of secrets yourself, and so your natural instincts should assist you. Nonetheless, if you've been plagued for the past 12 years or so with unexplained breakdowns, then you can blame Pluto. Jupiter is also in that vicinity, but he's only been there since November 24, 2006. He tends to expand whatever he touches and may have given you some considerable luck in this area. You may have gotten some incredible deals or had door of opportunity open up over the past eight months. Just don't get carried away with extravagances or being too optimistic about your ability to pay for something without doing the math.

With Uranus in your Natural 5th House of children, love affairs and creativity, anything could happen. He's another slow mover, so if you've noted lots of surprises, disruptions, unexpected events, and changes relative to these areas, then he's your culprit. He can bring some serious innovation as well, though, which in the house of creativity could be very beneficial. Surprises aren't always bad, and if your birthday is on or around November 10th you might be in for a pleasant surprise this month in one of those areas.

Relationships are likely to be a bit rocky this month as Mars parades through your Natural 7th House of relationships. He's pretty well known as the God of War and while he can sometimes bring lots of energy that can be used in a positive manner, he can also bring aggression and problems. Even if you're on your absolutely best behavior this month, there's a good chance that someone is going to start some crap with you. This House covers close friends, one on one relationships, business partners and significant others. So contention is likely in one or more of these relationships, even if you're not the one to stir things up. Hopefully any problems will be short-lived, however, since he moves into Gemini on August 7th, to see what he can stir up over there. Stay tuned next month for more on what to expect there.

On the positive side, things are probably going quite well for 10th House issues such as your career and reputation. Venus is hanging out in that vicinity, which will shed some very positive light on you and your efforts in that area. She has a rather unlikely companion, i.e. Saturn, with whom you wouldn't expect her to be compatible, but oddly enough their energies blend quite nicely. She'll make you look good and Saturn will enhance your sense of structure, discipline and responsibility, all of which are generally looked upon very favorably in the workplace. Saturn is also all about ambition and status, so these two could definitely set you up for a promotion or serious recognition. This particularly aspect doesn't happen every day, so make sure you put it to work for you, particularly during the first part of the month when they're in exact conjunction. Venus goes retrograde on the 28th, which could force a good hard look at finances or other benefits relative to you career.

This should be a very active and possibly exciting month for you. Use that New Moon to do something to enrich your life, keep your cool in your relationships and keep your eyes open for opportunities in the career area. This is likely to be a memorable month, so take advantage of it.
