The only heavenly body transiting your
Sign this month will be the
Moon, who will be there for a quick visit between July 7 - 8. This
will probably be no more than a brief, emotional speed bump that you're likely
to mistake for indigestion. This is not to say, however, that there is
nothing going on for Aries astrologically. Of course you're just coming
off of that nice burst of energy you enjoyed last month when your
ruling planet,
Mars, was in your sign.
He has since moved into Taurus, your Natural 2nd
House of possessions, comforts
and pleasures. Not only will that nice feeling of invigoration go away,
but he may be up to no good. Don't be surprised if you're annoyed by
various things this month such as breakdowns or repairs. Guard your stuff
against harm from others as well. Don't loan anything out or leave it
laying around where someone can help themselves because you probably won't like
the result. The New Moon in Cancer on July 14 is in your Natural 4th House, which governs your home environment. This could usher in a new phase of some sort in that area, especially for those with birthdays April 10 - 14. The Sun is in Cancer as well until July 23, bringing further emphasis to this area. Mercury is there, also, but retrograde (RX) until July 10. This is the time when cell phones, computers, traffic lights and communications in general are less than enchanting. The good news, however, is that it's a good time to revisit and rework issues associated with the astrological house involved. Thus, if you have any home related issues that haven't been sufficiently resolved, it's actually a suitable time to address them. If you're trying to push anything forward before then, your efforts are likely to encounter numerous frustrations and make little progress until after then, anyway. You Natural 5th House, which includes your children, creativity and love life, has two visitors, Saturn and Venus. These are a pretty unlikely couple, yet they can work together fairly well. Saturn is all about responsibility, discipline and obligation while Venus is about pleasure, comforts, possession and relationships. Together they could achieve a very satisfactory balance; in the simplest form, you may actually find yourself enjoying your responsibilities. However, toward the last week of the month, Mars is going to square this pair, which could cause a little friction in this department. As you may recall, Saturn has been in a long-term tug-o-war with Neptune, which will more than likely play into this as well. The Saturn - Neptune situation is what's causing that reality versus dreams situation that has been getting so much astrological press for sometime now. Mars in the middle can actually give you a means to resolve the other dilemma by giving it an escape route or focus. Since he's in your 2nd House, maybe you'll ultimately decide that you like your creature comforts more than you were willing to admit before, so maybe having to work so you're able to pay for them isn't such a big price to pay after all. On the other hand, maybe the opposite is true, that the freedom is worth giving up those things that you've come to realize are totally optional. At any rate, the Mars energy combined with the Taurus determination ought to give you what you need to get there once you figure out where that is. Additional astrological import in this area will come from the Full Moon, which occurs on July 29 in your Natural 11th House of groups and organizations, friends, hopes and wishes. This could indicate a culmination of some activity in this area, or perhaps the ending of a phase. Note that this also happens to be in Aquarius, which is where Neptune, master of illusion and delusion is hanging out. The dreams versus reality situation discussed above, is therefore likely to relate to obligations relative to children (5th House) and similar responsibilities (Saturn) versus your hopes and wishes (11th house) which may not be realistic (Neptune). It makes perfect sense that it will take something as powerful as Mars energy to solve a dilemma like that. Pluto is still messing with your Natural 9th House of academia, foreign travel, other cultures, politics, religion and legal matters, to name a few. He can be quite a bad actor, yet really no more so than a surgeon who removes diseased parts from your body. The incision is painful, yet after that the healing process can proceed and ultimately you feel better than you did before. Anything hidden or unhealthy will be flushed out, which will allow regeneration to occur. This is not a pleasant process, but an essential one that leaves you in better shape than before you started. There is some additional help from Jupiter, who is in that same neck of the woods. He's currently RX, which will internalize various thoughts relative to ethical issues, of which there are many in the 9th House. Aries tend to be very straight-forward and have little patience for silly games and manipulations. Thus, your opinion, when it evolves, will be pretty cut and dried. Jupiter goes direct August 7th so after that some expansion and luck should prevail relative to your activities in this area. In other words, once you figure out what you want and what you're going to do, you'll direct your usual Aries energy in that direction and undoubtedly "git 'r dun." Uranus, planet of upsets, disruptions, surprises and unexpected change, is camped out in you 12th House, where he's been for quite a while now. This is the source of all those little subtle revelations you keep having. The 12th House is pretty foreign to most Aries as it relates to spirituality, transcending, institutions and the collective consciousness. Most Aries believe that the majority of the world is filled with assholes who aren't worth knowing, much less merging with at the physical much less spiritual level, so many of these little nudges to a higher plane will be discounted and ignored, much as Moon transits as noted in the first paragraph; the Moon will be felt like indigestion and these spiritual awakenings like a hangover, something with which I'm sure you're familiar. However, if your birthday falls within a few days of April 8, something may occur this month that will slap you upside the head and yank your awareness into a different realm, like it or not. This is likely to be an active month, but perhaps more in a mental or emotional sense than physical. Guard your possessions and while you're at it decide how much they really mean to you. Once you've answered that you may be able to handle that dreams versus reality question once and for all. |
