January 2007 Forecast

Key Events:

Full Moon 1/03/2007

New Moon 1/18/2007

The Full Moon on January 3rd will fall in your Natural 8th House which rules other people's or shared resources, intimate relationships, inheritances, death & regeneration and transformation.  If any of these areas are a hot spot in your life, particularly if your birthday falls between December 1-10,  then you can expect some emphasis on it this month.  Full Moons often signify endings, so perhaps if you've had some challenges they will soon be resolved.  Nonetheless, you may have to justify your position and do some serious convincing of any other parties regarding the issue at hand.  Sag is far from a mental slouch, however, so doing this should amount to child's play for you.

The New Moon on the 18th will be in Capricorn, your Natural 2nd House of possessions, finances and simple pleasures.  This lunation could indicate a purchase or possibly a significant gift, if coupled with the Full Moon.  It could also indicate a period of relaxation and recreation, so it might be a really good time to take that ski trip.  The month begins with a stellium comprising the Sun, Mercury and Venus in that House, which should enhance your communications with any salespeople who may be involved as you pursue those after-Christmas sales.  Venus will especially give you a propensity to indulge yourself, but hurry, because she moves on January 4th to visit your 3rd House of intelligence, mental activity and short trips.

Mars is in your Sign until the 17th which should give you some extra energy.  Use it wisely.  When he moves into your Natural 2nd House it could cause a variety of glitches or breakdowns and perhaps precipitate that shopping trip referred to earlier.  Depending on the timing, make sure you don't go out and spend big bucks on something you don't really need only to have something you DO need crap out later.  So take a good hard look with a suspicious eye at anything that is getting a bit old or worn out.

The aforementioned stellium will move into your Natural 3rd House toward the middle of the month.  Mercury will enhance your ability to communicate and gather any information you need.  The Sun will throw some emphasis on this area and Venus will be there until the 28th, which should make these efforts rather pleasant.  Neptune is in this same neighborhood and could lend some extra inspiration your way.  Neptune is one of those outer planets that will color some area of your life for a long time, usually years.  When the planet is in exact aspect to your Natal Sun or perhaps one of your other Natal planets, it could have a noticeable effect but most of the time it will be more subtle.

Your ruling planet, Jupiter, is one of those slow movers and has been transiting your Sign for quite a while.  Naturally he's quite at home there and should be emanating some positive energy toward personal growth and development.  Those most affected this month will be those with birthdays between November 28 - December 4th.

More than likely you consider yourself above average in intelligence and can out-think most others, or at least think you can.  With Saturn retrograde in your Natural 9th House of legal matters, ceremonies, long distance travel and higher education, one or more of these areas is likely to seem stuck in the mud, perhaps due to your own indecision.  Saturn is probably working something over in your subconscious relative to one of these areas, perhaps related to a decision to return to school or whether or not to take a trip abroad.  This issue is currently below your radar and only serving to make you feel vaguely restless or frustrated, but by around April 20 it will come above the horizon and you'll be well on your way to a solution by the end of July.  The ultimate outcome should be very positive.

You may be seeing disruptive surprises and changes in your home environment due to Uranus.  This will be especially apparent to those with birthdays between December 2-8.

Pluto continues to transit your Sign, a fact that we're talked about ad nauseam for the entire year.  Jupiter is probably helping counteract some of the influence, but it still may feel as if a dump truck full of the payload of your choice, be it manure or gravel, has been deposited directly in front of your door, precluding entry until it's removed.  This will be especially strong if he's conjunct your Natal Sun, which will be the case if your birthday falls December 17-22.  Any personal flaws you may have will be exposed and you may feel as if you're being eviscerated, but rest assured that you'll be a better person when all is said and done.  I can just hear your bitter laugh to that statement, but seriously Pluto's transits are a lot like surgery (probably without anesthesia) in that they're painful while they're in force, but afterwards you have the opportunity to heal with any toxic or diseased elements removed.

Life may not be easy these days, but it's certainly not boring, so bear that in mind since I know that's one thing that Sags don't especially like.
