The
Full Moon this month on January 3rd falls in your Natural 10th
House which relates to your
career, community status and reputation, and also the various authority figures
in your life. If your birthday falls between October 1-10 you will most
likely notice some effect in this area, especially for those born October 5.
You may encounter a stumbling block of some sort or, if you're lucky, it may
mean the conclusion of something you've been struggling with for the past month
or more, since Full Moons often signify endings. Cross your fingers and
hope for the best. The New Moon on the 18th occurs in your Natural 4th House, which covers your home environment, past and present. This will be noticeable for those born October 16-26 with the strongest effect for those born October 21. This could highlight a conflict of some sort, perhaps relative to career versus family. Early in the month a stellium comprising the Sun, Mercury and your ruler, Venus, will be in Capricorn, which could initiate some dialogs relative to this subject. While the conversations may encompass a few disagreements and differences of opinion which I know Libras hate, Mercury will help get all the facts out on the table and Venus should help their exchange happen in a reasonably civilized manner. However, Venus is only there until the 4th so that doesn't give you much time. I know you'll listen and be as fair as humanly possible, something Libras excel at, but don't neglect expressing your own opinion and examining how you really feel about the situation. Don't just drop into your usual peace-maker mode and compromise beyond what you feel in your heart just for the sake of ending an argument. Such behavior does not resolve anything, only plunges it beneath the surface to pop up again later. Venus covers a lot of ground this month, starting out in Capricorn, moving to Aquarius on the 4th and into Pisces on the 28th. This grand sweep will bestow her blessings to three of your Natural Houses, i.e. home environment as discussed above as well as the 5th (creativity, hobbies, children, love life and entertainment) and 6th (work, health, pets). That is a lot of territory, needless to say, so in spite of what the lunations might stir up rest assured that the Universe is watching over you. The outer planets, which comprise primarily the big guys out beyond Mars, move rather slowly and produce long-term influences and effects in the Houses in which they reside. Saturn is one of them and he is currently retrograde in your Natural 11th House of group activities, hopes and wishes. This will ordinarily stir some subconscious activity relative to this area. Since it's all occurring below your radar, you probably are not aware of anything going on other than perhaps feeling a bit restless or uncomfortable about something. Perhaps it involves the people you hang out with, any group involvement you're engaged in or possible your fondest aspirations. When the retrograde period ends on April 20, whatever this issue happens to be will rise above the horizon and you'll recognize what needs to be done. By the end of July you'll either have it resolved or will at least have a plan in work, so once again, trust the Universe. Uranus is tripping through your Natural 6th House of work, health and pets. This will undoubtedly trigger various changes and surprises relative to work, diet & fitness and possibly pets. Not much you can do about this one other than be prepared wherever you can and roll with the punches. It's going to last for a while. Other long-term transits involve Jupiter and Pluto in your Natural 3rd House which rules the intellect and short journeys. Jupiter, like Venus, is generally a benefic planet and should provide expansion to your thought processes, especially if your birthday is between September 28 - October 9. If you have any projects in work that require a lot of thinking, this should bode well for its successful completion. Pluto is another story, however. The god of the underworld is at work on your thought processes as well and as a Libra you probably won't be very comfortable with what's going on. Those born October 19-23 are most affected, though the rest of you will undoubtedly recognize what I'm talking about. Transiting Pluto tends to unearth hidden facts, not all of which are pleasant. Afterall, if they've been kept hidden up until now it was for a reason. As a natural diplomat, you are not the one usually expected to start some crap, but you may find that is exactly what you've been doing. You go into it innocently enough, with your natural, Libran data-gathering tentacles extended so you can weight all sides and be fair to all. In the process, however, somehow your usual tact goes into stasis and you find yourself asking all sorts of hard questions that make people squirm. Superficial answers are just plain unacceptable and deeper meaning is sought, sometimes ruthlessly. You may even wonder sometimes what the hell has gotten into you. Well, now you know, it's good ol' Pluto. Up until the 17th of this month this will be further exacerbated by Mars, the god of War, who might even introduce some aggression into your usually mild manner. Now is when you need to be fair to yourself and use this experience to understand others even better. As these influences and behaviors grab you like a mugger in a dark alley you'll come to know from first-hand experience why some people act the way they do. Since understanding and peace are so important to you, this increased depth of understanding will be an important data point and essential curriculum in your cosmic journey. Your life probably feels a little unsettled and intense right now and this is likely to continue as such for a while. However, the latter half of this month you have the Sun, Mercury, Venus (until the 28th) and Neptune in your Natural 5th House. This house is home to your creativity, children, hobbies, love life and entertainment. This is where you'll be able to find some relief from the stress going on elsewhere, so exploit it for all it's worth. Relax and indulge yourself and your loved ones whenever you can and trust the rest to the Universe, who's been doing what it does for a long time. |
