The
Full Moon on January 3rd occurs in your Natural 12th
House, which rules your
subconscious. This effect will be the most noticeable for those whose
birthdays fall between approximately July 31 - August 9 and the strongest if
your birthday is August 4. This will stir things up a bit in your
subconscious which could result in some vague feeling of unrest or frustration
that you can't quite lay a finger on. This is being exacerbated further by
Saturn, who has the
ill-grace to be
retrograde in your Sign. This will also make you a bit more serious
than usual as your subconscious ruminates on something that will slightly dampen
your usual Leo fire. The good news is that by around April 20 or so
whatever this is will come to the surface and you'll probably have either a plan
in place or even have it resolved it by your birthday. I know that may
sound like a long time, but anything serious enough to stew over for that long
isn't taken care of overnight. Trust the Universe that it is continually
helping you to move in the right direction if you'll listen to its instructions
and allow it to do its part. Resistance is futile.... The New Moon on the 18th falls in your Natural 6th House which relates to work, health and pets. Activities at work may increase, you may finally get the inspiration to start a diet to battle those holiday pounds, commit to an exercise regimen or possible get a new pet. This effect will be most noticeable for those born August 17-27 and strongest if your birthday falls on August 22. This will culminate issues begun in December by Mercury, the Sun and Venus, when communications in this area were enhanced. Venus moves into Aquarius, your Natural 7th House of relationships, on January 4th, which could throw a bit of romance your way in one form or another. Communications relative to relationships should go well, also, thanks to Mercury. The Sun's ingress into that sign on the 20th will bring further emphasis, especially since Leos are ruled by the Sun. Neptune is chugging along through there as well. This slow mover tends a bit toward idealism and dreaminess, which is a nice indulgence, but don't take those daydreams too seriously, particularly regarding the people who are already in your life or perhaps those you'd like to be. Keep your expectations realistic so you're not disappointed, but go ahead and indulge in a harmless fantasy now and then. Jupiter has been transiting your Natural 5th House for quite a while and this will continue for quite a while. The outer planets move slowly and have a long-term influence on us in the area of our life affected by their resident House. The 5th House relates to our creativity, children, love affairs, and entertainment. Jupiter is a benefic planet that usually brings luck and expansion, so over the next few years you see continued developments in these areas. Leo represents the Universal 5th House so this is an important area for you. On the darker side, also in your 5th House is Pluto, god of the underworld. Pluto transits are often as welcome as a letter from the IRS, but when all is said and done they help us to heal from old wounds. While he's exhuming old baggage, however, it is often less than pleasant, but rest assured that with time cleaning out all those toxins will allow you to move on happier and mentally healthier than before. Resistance is futile here as well and again all you can do is trust the Universe, who is much larger and smarter than we are, including those of you who are ruled by the Sun! Those of you with birthdays between July 23 - August 5 will have your solar opposition this month, approximately around your half-birthday. Be careful you're not blinded by the light but use it wisely. Avoid being too egocentric, which can cause relationship woes or even accidents if you allow yourself to become too distracted. This should be a good month for you, especially if you keep your hopes and dreams alive while keeping both feet on the ground. Just make sure you use that solar opposition to your advantage as well as all those planets in your 7th House. |
