The month starts out with
Mars in your sign, though
his visit will be short-lived since he'll move into Gemini on August 8.
This has probably given you a bit of a boost that has probably felt rather good.
If there is something of a personal nature that you wanted to get done, now is
the time and there are only a few days left so git 'r' dun! Once
Mars moves into your Natural 2nd
House, which rules you possessions, finances, comforts and pleasures, that
energy will shift direction. This is a House that is near and dear to a
Taurus heart since Taurus' home base is the Universal 2nd House. In other
words, you like your stuff, your money as well as being comfortable and enjoying
life. On the positive side, Mars will energize these areas and it's
possible that you might let loose of some of your money and indulge in a few
things you might normally pass by. If misdirected, it can cause breakdowns
or sometimes even theft, so make sure you lock your things up and take good care
of them or you may not like the results. The planets love to teach us
lessons and if you tend to be a little too casual looking after your possessions
or finances (which is unusual for most Taurus', but you never know) you may
learn the hard way not to take things for granted. There's a lot of activity in your Natural 4th House of home environment this month. The Sun is there until the 24th, Mercury is there from the 5th - 20th, the New Moon occurs there on the 12th, Saturn has been there for quite a while, and Venus will drop in for a while due to her retrograde (RX) motion. The Sun always bring attention to a particular area of your life, so this month your home environment is going to be getting your attention anyway. Mercury stimulates our thoughts and communications, so it's likely that your home life will be on your mind a lot and there will be a lot of discussions with other family members during that time. New Moons usually herald a new phase or beginning of some kind, so there may be a first of some description coming up, possibly a new residence or family member. Saturn has been hanging out there for a quite a while, which has not necessarily been a pleasant experience. Saturn imposes structure, reminds us of our responsibilities, and can institute delays, or represent authority figures. Thus, there may have been a few lessons in one or more of these areas that were not exactly among your fondest memories. However, Saturn's work there is probably nearly done since he'll be moving into Virgo on September 3. Venus RX usually internalizes your thoughts relative to relationships and since your home environment frequently involves other people, this is likely to be applicable. You have probably been sorting out your thoughts and feelings toward those around you and your relationships could have been undergoing some changes. Venus RX can also direct your thoughts to your finances as they relate to your home life and give you a boot or two relative to how you handle your money. Taurus is usually one of the more frugal signs, and if you haven't had any significant revelations in this area it's because it's not an area in which you have a problem. Planetary transits can either be invisible or very noticeable and even painful, depending on how much of a weakness we have in that relevant area, depending on the planet, sign and house in question. They have a great knack for finding that hidden flaw and airing it to you in no uncertain terms, if not everyone else without your family and social circle. If you're strong in a certain area, it's like being immunized against a disease, and will probably pass you by without any more than a brief Hello, if that. At any rate, you get the idea, things will be hopping on the homefront this month and it will do you good to pay attention and learn all you can from whatever transpires. Mercury moves into Virgo on the 20th with the Sun following on the 24th, taking their influences to your Natural 5th House, which governs your creativity, love life and children, if you have any. Saturn will be there on September 3rd, so you can expect some action to follow in this part of your life toward the end of August and into September. Jupiter come out of retrograde in your Natural 8th House of intimate relationships, transformations and shared resources on the 7th. While he's been RX he's probably been stimulating some thoughts relative to your belief system and ethical considerations relative to these issues. When he resumes direct motion, that energy will shift and provide an expansion, perhaps to the point of excess, in these areas. Jupiter, especially when he's in Sagittarius, his home base, can bring luck, but with this placement it might also create some restlessness or require an adjustment of some description before you can get comfortable again. This will be most noticeable if your birthday falls between April 28 - May 3. Perhaps a relationship will evolve to a new level, you'll make a quantum leap in your understanding of life and where you're going, or perhaps a financial opportunity of significant proportions will present itself. Also hanging out in your 8th House is Pluto, who's been there for a long, long time. Pluto is quite at home in the 8th House since he rules Scorpio, who lives in that neighborhood. This will have influenced you to never be satisfied with superficial answers or information in any of these areas. You'll have a deep, intuitive understanding that many people miss in these areas and have a propensity for unearthing hidden information. In this area of your life it will complicate some of these issues, yet make the experiences richer and more emotionally satisfying as well. It will move on in a few years, but enjoy it while it lasts. The Full Moon on the 28th is also a lunar eclipse, which will give it significantly more punch. This will occur in your Natural 11th House of groups, organizations, hopes and wishes. More than likely, something in one of these areas will come to a conclusion at that time. There's a good chance that whatever it is began round the March timeframe, but is about to come to fruition in one way or another. If your birthday falls around April 20 - 30, this will be more noticeable and could also come trailing an opportunity of some kind, so keep an eye out. Uranus is in this same sign, which could have been generating a few surprises, unexpected events or upsets in this same area. Nonetheless, not all surprises are bad and if your birthday is around May 6 - 12, you may have something pleasant come your way that could also include an opportunity. It looks like this month will focus on your home environment and possibly your intimate relationships as well. The Full Moon eclipse could bring you something special, so keep your ear turned if opportunity knocks. |
