Two major events occur in your Sign
this month as Pluto and
Jupiter go
retrograde (RX) in
your sign on the 1st and 6th, respectively. These are both in your Natural
1st House, so will have an
effect on a personal level. The fact that Jupiter is also you
ruling planet
will lend some added significance. These two planets have been cruising in
your personal neighborhood for a while now and you've probably noticed their
presence.
Jupiter is largely (literally and figuratively) what makes you what you are. He expands anything he touches and can also precipitate various excesses. As a Fire Sign, you're already enthusiastic, sometimes too much so, and Archers are also prone to be a bit high-minded and over-confident. If Jupiter just happens to be riding your Natal Sun, which will be the case if your birthday falls roughly between December 8 - 14, you may be feeling your oats, but everyone else who has to share the Universe with you may not be quite as enchanted. Jupiter RX should turn some of that energy inward, which should be a good thing. You're already philosophical by nature and this will help you do some serious introspection relative to your core beliefs and how they synch up with your behavior. If there's a discrepancy, there is no time like the present to correct it. In fact, you'll have several months to do so. I'd like to point out here that the planets perform a beautiful dance together and frequently work in harmony with one another. Their collective goal is to help us all along the road to become better people. And that is exactly what Pluto will work with Jupiter to do. Pluto RX is usually about as charming as a root canal, but he serves a very important purpose. Just like when you have a bad tooth that is not only painful but threatening other elements of your health, the process to correct and heal it is not exactly a walk in the park. Nonetheless, once your dentist removes the decayed and possibly infected portion, he achieves a positive renewal one that new tooth is installed on the healthy root. This analogy would probably be a bit over the head for some of the other Signs, but I am confident you get my meaning. There is something rumbling around within you that needs to be cleaned up. Identifying it may not be much fun, but it needs to be done. And when it's done a few months down the road you'll feel like a new person. While these two planets will affect all Sagittarians to some degree, the Pluto transit will be most powerful for those born around December 19-21. The good news is that you're forewarned and with your natural intelligence and philosophical nature, you'll be able to handle this better than many others. Trust me. Another planet that is participating in this cosmic ballet is Neptune, who is sauntering along in your Natural 3rd House, which covers your thought processes and intellect. He tends to a variety of effects ranging from idealism to delusion, but positioned as he is, a touch of idealism and transcendence is probably going to help that retrograde Jupiter come up with some real fine answers. Your homelife is likely to be a bit unsettled right now as well and a visit from Mars this month will probably stir it up some more. Be sure to use this burst of energy in a positive way, if at all possible. There is a possibility that something could break down and also a possibility for disagreements; at least Mercury is there to help out until the 11th. Uranus, planet of surprises, changes and the unexpected, has been hanging out there for quite a while now and is probably still stirring things up a bit. Never fear, this is just another piece of the puzzle being worked by the planets to get you where you need to be as a person. On the positive side, the Sun is transiting you Natural 5th House of children, love affairs and creativity. This will highlight these areas, more than likely in a positive way, and bring you some comfort and relief from some of the other things going on. The New Moon on the 17th is likely to usher in a new phase of some sort in this area as well. Things at work should be going fairly well thanks to Venus, at least until the 12th when she moves on and enters Gemini. And that will actually also be a good thing because Venus will be in your Natural 7th House of relationships. Sagittarius is most at home in the 9th House and Saturn has been retrograde in yours since last December. Saturn is another planet whose reputation is malefic and he may have been putting the brakes on anything to do with your long distance travel, higher education or legal matters. Fortunately, on the 21st he goes direct, which should open up some pathways that have been closed for months. The good news on Saturn is that he also works on your subconscious in the life arenas relative to his resident House. Now that he's correcting his path, these issues will surface and give you the opportunity to correct them, more than likely before the end of July. All in all, there is a lot going on, largely at a psychological and emotional level. Knowing how you hate shallow people, however, keep in mind that this is what character building is all about. I have no doubt that you can handle it and handle it well. |
