The New Moon on the 14th occurs in Gemini, your Natural 10th House of career, authority figures and reputation. The Sun has already been bringing emphasis to this area, which will continue until the 22nd, but this lunation is likely to bring a new phase into view in this area as well. Be aware that it might also bring a conflict or challenge of some sort, especially if your birthday is around September 14-18. You tend to be brutally honest, yet you also usually think your way of doing things is the one and only path. Make sure you don't give someone a stick to beat you with by being too hard-over in one of these areas. If nothing else in your life seems to point in this direction, be a little extra cautious on the road and obey all traffic signs and speed limits for at least a month because Smokey is very likely to have your number. And just a word of caution, if you do get nailed in that fashion, don't cop an attitude or it's likely to get worse. The Full Moon on the 30th takes place in fellow Earth Sign, Capricorn, which is your Natural 5th House of creativity, children and love affairs. This could indicate the end of a phase in one of these areas. Not all endings are bad; some are down right positive if they're represented a challenge of some sort. If your birthday is between August 29 - September 3, give or take a day or two, this is likely to have more direct bearing on your life. It may not necessarily be what you would consider a big deal, but something in this area will come to a close, whether it's a creative project, a stage one of your children is in or the progression of a love affair. I hate to tell you this, Virgo, but your ruling planet, Mercury, goes retrograde again on the 16th. This will occur in Cancer, your Natural 11th House of groups, friends, hopes and wishes. This is likely to cause a plethora of communication problems and other annoyances in one or more of these areas. The one thing Mercury RX is good for is to redo, rework or rethink something. It's also a good time to clean things out and organize your life, which is something at which Virgo excels. Nonetheless, it's either ironic or the design of the Universe that the planet that does this most frequently is the one who presides over the Sign that reigns over our mental processes (Gemini) and the one that directs our work (Virgo). Furthermore, Gemini tend to be very active mentally and this, of course, slows that down and internalizes it. For Virgo, the nitpickers of the world who are horrifically bothered with anything short of perfection, the breakdowns and inconveniences caused by this phenomena definitely try their patience. So maybe what the Universe is trying to tell Gemini is to slow down a bit and its message to Virgo would be to show more patience. Which I'm sure is not something that you want to hear. Other than this, you know the drill, that all things mechanical and electronic tend to go on the fritz when Mercury does this about-face every few months. Don't buy anything in these categories or it will have a curse on it forever and cause you even more frustration, even if it means renting a car or doing without until July 10th, when it will go direct once more. There has probably been a fair amount of action going on in your home environment for quite a while now. Both Jupiter and Pluto are retrograde in your Natural 4th House, which will cause you to reassess your views relative to ethics and morals as well as dig through any issues from your past that have not been satisfactorily resolved. This may not be terribly noticeable at the conscious level, but will probably give you a jab in the ribs every now and then until you get it all figured out and take any appropriate action. If you've been giving some serious consideration to your spiritual life and any practical value it may have, you've probably reached a few conclusions over the past month or so. These are likely to be enhanced after the 6th as Venus enters Leo, your Natural 12th House that rules such things, and shed some positive vibes in that direction, perhaps in the form of some pleasant experiences in that particular venue. Mars has been in Aries for a while which may be throwing a glitch or two in your intimate relationships or shared resources that will require an adjustment or some justification on your part. Try not to be too aggressive about what you want as it's likely to backfire. Knowing how Virgo craves perfection, you've probably been dreaming of the ideal job for quite a while now. Bear in mind that this is more than likely a pipe dream that you'd do well to look at with some of the Earth Sign logic of which I know you have an abundance. A little idealism is good for all of us, but Virgos, who are already prone to be perfectionists, can take it to an unreasonable range as quickly as your dog will grab that steak that you left marinating on the kitchen counter. No job is going to be perfect all the time, but a more realistic goal would be to find something that you enjoy most of the time that gives you an opportunity to use those traits that Virgos invented like hard work, attention to detail, meticulous eye for research and organization skills. All in all, June will probably not be your favorite month of 2007, but there are various issues to be worked and things to be considered that will ultimately work to your benefit at a later date. The Universe and it's influence on mankind is God's special gift and the closest thing to perfection we can experience 24/7. Bear that in mind on the 16th when Mercury goes RX and put it to good use. |
