FULL MOON

The Full Moon on November 4 in Fixed Sign, Taurus, could have either a stabilizing effect or possibly that of stagnation or being stuck targeted at the house noted for your sign (or ascendant) above. You may finally know what you really want, probably quite badly, but be stuck in other ways, perhaps financially or simply making the necessary changes to your routine to move in a new direction. Neptune is mitigating the general conflict inherent in the lunation which implies assistance to your imagination and conjuring up visions of where you ultimately wish to arrive. I really get a kick out of the aspect patterns in this lunation chart which to me, probably because I'm a cat lover, can see a cut little kitty cat staring at me.

Breaking away from someone or something, whether a person or perhaps the need for financial freedom, is another area that requires balance at this time. Saturn is helping there by providing structure, discipline, an ordered plan, and responsible attitude to resolve the matter, step by step. You can sense that something needs to change, but probably haven't quite figure out what. Mars is freewheeling in Libra, sign of his debility, where his autonomy is hindered by political correctness or waiting on someone else's approval. This is quite possibly what makes you think that ditching whatever is in your way is the best solution. However, it could also be cutting off your nose to spite your face, so try a more rational approach first.

Pluto is hanging loose in Capricorn, unaspected like Mars, which allows them each to do his own thing, unencumbered. Pluto relates to power, control, exposing corruption, cleansing, and generally eliminating anything you no longer need. If he's aspecting your chart in some way you may encounter the sudden urge to clean out the attic, garage, or that overstuffed closet which puts you life at risk when you open the door. Taking care of old issues is favored as well. On the world scene, this could bring a variety of interesting headlines as leaders flex their muscles. Between November 18 - 21 this is particularly likely as Mars squares Pluto with an extra boost from the New Moon on the 18th.

The New Moon on November 18 is in passionate and forceful Scorpio, the lunation's quincunx to Uranus suggesting a sudden change of direction. This is likely to be facilitated by an annoyance or irritation initiated by a person of authority, who is demanding the change. As noted earlier, Mars is squaring Pluto for this event, a rather unfriendly connection, though Mars is hindered somewhat by being in Libra, sign of his debility. This is likely to manifest as someone communicating or the discovery of information that sets things in motion.

Venus is in Scorpio, sign of her debility, where she's not as warm and inviting as she can be in other signs. Rather, she's likely to be more demanding and insistent on what she wants, given her wide but viable conjunction with Jupiter, who can often function similar to a hot air bag. Both are trining Neptune, suggesting these demands are likely to be unrealistic, though there is a slight possibility it could be inspiration worth paying attention to. Just make sure you check your sources before getting into something deeper than you can dig your way out of.

OTHER COSMIC EVENTS

Neptune stations direct on November 22, the same day that the Sun goes into Sagittarius. If you're trying to increase or refine your intuitive skills, a solar sign change is an excellent time to tune in and see if you can sense the energy change. Neptune moves very slowly, such that he's been in the neighborhood of 11 degrees Pisces since October 9, and he'll be in that degree until January 6.

If your birthday is right around January 2, this will bring a blast of Neptunian energy to your natal Sun during this time from your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors, and local travel. This blast will be in the form of a sextile, which typically indicates an opportunity. Pisces, where Neptune rules and currently resides, represents your natural 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors, and local travel. Therefore, this looks as if a big blast of inspiration is coming your way, one that will persist for quite a while, giving you time to think it through. You have some help coming your way from Sagittarius, your 12th house of spirituality, enlightenment, seclusion, confinement, institutions, your subconscious mind, hidden enemies and self-defeating behaviors which could help this along, so listen to your intuition. The Sun, Mercury, and your sign ruler, Saturn are all in Sagittarius, strengthening and organizing things at the subconscious level, which will be helpful to knowing what to do with those brainstorms. Don't be surprised if they ultimately bring a new beginning of some description your way or effect a big change to your home environment.

For those of you born right around January 8, you are in the major throes of a Pluto transit as Pluto moves past your natal Sun. This is a very transformational transit that last for years, due to retrograde motion. It would have begun in early 2016, then backed off for a while, then returned in January of 2017. It let up for a while, then came back via retrograde in August. It probably didn't entire diminish, when Pluto stationed direct in September, so now he's back again. If your Sun is right at 17 degrees, he'll clip you again in September 2018, then be on his way. Note the changes that have occurred in your life during that time, which are likely to be very significant. An excellent book on Pluto is "Alive and Well with Pluto" by astrologer Bil Tierney. They say few actually die during a Pluto transit, but you may want to. Rest assured, that when all is said and done, Pluto is ultimately about ridding yourself of what you don't need, cleansing, and moving forward with a sense of renewal. Think of it as cosmic surgery, which isn't exactly a cake walk, but allows you to heal.
